I’ve wondered about their burgers for a hot minute. The Ramble Creek in Missouri City touts the BOGO Mondays sometime last year. But that’s a long trek on an already long Monday.
Ramble Creek in Richmond popped up in my FB feed last night with its BOGO on the last Monday of the month.
I saved it to my calendar and ohmygoddess what an utter unexpected surprise!
I order the All Jacked Up with slaw. Dad ordered the Black & Bleu with fries.
Slaw is a bit too oily/vinegary and they allowed me to trade for fries.
Fries were plump with the perfect crunch.
Burgers were pleasantly flavorful and cooked to our desired preference.
Josh was our server. He kept my refills coming and was pleasant and attentive. Superb service!
We enjoyed our meals and I’ve programmed this into my calendar for the year.

The atmosphere could benefit from some updates, including the condiment plates on the table, and the floor paint, which was peeling. However, the food was excellent—both the steak and meatloaf were cooked perfectly. The margarita was slightly on the tart side, but the customer service truly stood out. Our server, Tony, was outstanding—patient, attentive, and incredibly friendly. Exceptional service like his made the experience memorable!

This was my first time visiting Ramble Creek Grill, and overall, it was a great experience. They had a special promotion offering a full four-course meal for just $30, which was an excellent value. I highly recommend trying the chicken and gravy—the gravy was absolutely delicious! However, I wasn’t a big fan of the alcoholic beverage I ordered.
The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with a charming rustic vibe that I really appreciated. Parking was plentiful, which made the visit even more convenient. Our waitress provided outstanding service, adding to the positive experience. I’d definitely consider returning!

We loved everything about it. The food was far better than I thought it would be. The staff was super friendly and made sure our glasses stayed full. I loved the uniqueness of the salmon with the cream sauce. Different from most restaurants. The atmosphere was more casual than a fine dining restaurant without compromising the quality of food. It was a little pricey, but that’s how it goes these days. We will definitely come back and try the burgers. I hear they are fantastic!

I decided to wait until after we’ve visited 3 times to see if we were just coming in on a lucky day, and we were not disappointed this place is great!We brought my dad when he came to town to visit and it was a great experience, the food was delicious and they have so many options that all look so delicious. Honestly the food was pretty good they just took forever to take our orders, drinks took forever to arrive and some of our order was missing. We never got water refills, no one even asked if we wanted refills. I ordered coffee and was reassured I would get it in 5 minutes, 20 minutes later I was still waiting. We ended up having to cancel our food and coffee order because they never brought it. We finally paid and asked for a box only to continue to waiting for it another 15 minutes. I finally pulled a you gentleman “James” to ask him for togo boxes. To our surprise our waiter finally brought our boxes almost 20 something minutes later. James still brought us boxes but also brought us a complimentary bread pudding, just to apologize for the wait. I didn’t even tell him how we never got our food or coffee or boxes. We were so surprised that he brought us that bread pudding, which was AMAZING. HANDS down!
Later I found out James is a manager. You should be very proud of him. He is a valuable asset. He made his great service make up for the bad. He did check up on us a few times. Our server was not bad, just to be clear. He was so busy and they seemed short staffed. He was polite and very kind.

Kat our waitress was truly the highlight of my first time dining experience here at Ramble Creek. She provided ample recommendations to me and she seemed to definitely know what flavours I was looking for. She recommended the Cajun chicken pasta which was delicious! She was very attentive and had a lovely positive attitude that I really appreciated! She went above and beyond to make sure my spouse and I had a wonderful dinner and surprised us with a delicious bread pudding that we originally wanted to pass up on. This was my spouses third time eating here and my first time and it was really special because of Kat and the sweet gentleman that brought out the dessert. Can’t wait to be back here with friends and family, the food is so delicious and the staff truly care about ensuring a pleasant experience!

I was wanting to try a new local spot and was craving crawfish. This place exceeded my expectations! The staff was so friendly and warm. We were checked on by different servers and the service was fast. They have weekend crawfish and it was delicious Louisiana style. The southern bread pudding is scrumptious!!!!!!!! The food and drink have great variety. Even the in house made sauces are so good. We will absolutely be back!

This neighborhood GEM is awesome. The food is fantastic. The drinks are great. The service is superb. Nick and James are totally awesome. We had mini charcuterie board, Buffalo chicken tenders and then the Mahi Mahi. All were sooo good. This place has always been spot-on. You can’t go wrong here.
Update 12/23/24: Back again last week just for some appetizers. Had the chicken soup with the broccoli cheese cornbread. It was delicious. The chicken soup was one of the best we’ve had. Also ordered the Ramble empanadas. The were great with the spicy ranch dip. The cranberry mule was also spot on.
Update to review 02/04/25 Keep coming back. Love this place. Today, we had the Voodoo redfish and it was more than awesome. Highly recommend.
