Celebrating 15 years in business, The Majestic Grille is thrilled to re-open the doors of their popular Downtown restaurant. A favorite with locals and tourists alike, The Majestic owners and staff cultivate a welcoming community gathering place full of hospitality and good food. The Majestic No. 1 Theatre opened on Main Street in 1913 and entertained Memphians for more than 30 years. Today, The Majestic Grille honors the legacy of it’s building by recreating the cinematic splendor of the dawn of the silver screen, all within the comforts of a local, neighborhood restaurant. I wanted a nice dining experience and Majestic Grill exceeded my expectations. I did not have a reservation so had to sit at the bar but the service was awesome. i had the salmon and it was delicious. I also tried the Strawberry mule. Delicious. Will visit again

Went here to celebrate a birthday dinner, the food, service and atmosphere was impeccable. I ordered a burger and fries with a side of sauteed mushrooms. Food came out promptly and was hot and delicious. The vegetables on the burger were very fresh and crisp which was a plus. The waitress was very attentive and nice. Overall great service and pleasantly pleased with everything. I will definitely be returning and enjoying other special moments here. Definitely one of the better spots downtown featuring a variety of dishes with extremely fair pricing

My husband and I’s favorite place for dinner. We came here a couple of times and absolutely love it. Place is clean and love the atmosphere. Staff is very professional and friendly. We love that they take reservations. The food is always delicious! We will definitely come back!

Took a lunch break away from Graceland with the aunts today and landed in this 100+ yo building that is majestic. They have a great lunch menu with salads, flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches and all very reasonably priced and a full bar to boot. Our selections were the salmon BLT, a chicken club wrap, gumbo and a grilled cheese all with side salads…again our attempt at trying to feel somewhat healthy here because it was all washed down with gin and tonic. The gumbo was nice and spicy and all other dishes were cooked perfectly. We were trying to dig into the grilled cheese (cheese, bacon and tomato) a little too quickly causing the picture to be so blurry I couldn’t post it lol The environment was an upscale casual – the beauty of the building just naturally makes it feel nicer than your normal grille. Service and food were wonderful so if you’re in the area we recommend grabbing a bite here.

We had a wonderful dinner here during our weekend getaway. I had the filet and my boyfriend had the seared tuna. We both had a specialty cocktail as well. All the food and drinks were spectacular. The service was good as well, but I would say I’d have liked for our waitress to come by a few more times than she did. All in all it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. If we’re ever in Memphis again we would return in a heartbeat.

Good service, good food- limited menu, but good choices. The old movies playing would highten the “theme” & atmosphere if you could hear it instead of CNN and womans lacrosse. Glad I went, but nothing spectacular I’d go to again. Parking is definitely an issue.
