Wow! I came for the food and atmosphere, and got WAY more.
I found out when I arrived to Magnolia Table after a 10hr road trip, I found out I had received incorrect information about the seating in the restaurant when I had called.
But Anthony, (who I later found out was the manager) made our experience amazing. He was so apologetic over the misunderstanding, and went out of his way to provide us the most amazing service. The food was absolutely delicious (the biscuits…omg!) but it was the service that made this experience. I was floored by his kindness and the effort he went to make up for the issue.
I wish we lived closer, I’d come back often if I did, because we were treated like we actually mattered, and that doesn’t happen very often in this world.
Thank you, Anthony, for your kind wholesome nature and empathy. You represented that restaurant and family so well, and truly turned a bummer of a situation into pure awe.

This buffet is inside a beautiful old home from the 1800’s. They have a cute little set up and provide a sanitation station. The food is a little bland but juicy and flaky. The biscuits were everything and the peanut butter pie was delicious. The service was friendly and inviting. All for about $12 a person for lunch. Our server said they no longer do breakfast but have seafood Fridays in the evening with a variety of options fried, boiled and stuffed.

Very cool old Victorian type house. Food was good, not great. I have nothing to complain about, except the price. It is about $17 a person for buffet and a drink. I understand we are living in a world of Brandon’s inflation, but prices could have been a little more reasonable. All in all I recommend.

Magnolia Place is a wonderful restaurant in downtown Winder that offers delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service. The homemade meals are served buffet style and include quite a few options. For example, on today’s lunch menu were mashed potatoes, green beans, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, pinto beans, butterbeans, white gravy, brown gravy, country fried steak, ham, chicken tenders, meatballs, and biscuits. Desserts ranged from peach cobbler to a variety of pies (like key lime) and cakes (like carrot). No matter when I visit this restaurant the quality and service are excellent. Magnolia Place restaurant has become a personal favorite of mine.

Food was just okay. They definitely cater towards an older audience so the food doesn’t have seasoning. Not too bad but most likely won’t be coming back

This is one of those local gems here in the city of Winder. It’s an old-fashioned kind of buffet and serves ham, mashed potatoes, corn, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, ect. The food goes for a fair price. But if you’re down for some good old fashioned Southern Cooking, then i would cast my vote for this wonderful little place.

Everything they served taste delicious and price is not bad considering it’s a buffet restaurant. It’s located inside a historic old house and you can park accross the street.

Servers as nice as can be. Food great. But I don’t appreciate being lied to by managers, fed a load of bull on Thanksgiving. Told me no to go plates, so I leave go get my elderly friend who has a hard time getting around. We come in and eat then I look up and see a man walking out with to-go boxes. I will talk to the owner if I can reach them. I don’t take disrespect lightly so I do intend to file a complaint. I’m thankful but not for being lied to and disrespected.

Wonderful place! I had never been here before. To be honest I didn’t know it was a restaurant until my husband told me about it. Home cooked comfort food. Hands down a great buffet!
