The first round of fries came out cold but when asked about the food, they were promptly replaced with properly hot ones.
Service was great and the food tasted excellent. Burger cooked exactly as asked for.
It’s easy for something to go wrong but to correct it hassle free is becoming more of a rarity.
They do not have coffee or hot tea but did offer to get some hot water as a warm drink. They’re willing to find solutions and they have a gluten free menu as well as gluten free soy sauce for the sushi!

Yes that’s right 5 across the board! This is not a normal situation for me usually there is one or two things off. Surprisingly enough though the restaurant hit on every aspect. Food was scrumptious burger was great and prepared exactly the way I wanted medium rare which is hard to get in a burger joint. I also was able to enjoy the sushi as well due to my taste palette learned that sushi was better separated from the burger. Sitting atmosphere was relatively relaxing with posh and elegant decorative pieces in a kinda backyard atmosphere. Lightning was also just right for a semi romantic style. The service was prompt with exceptional behavior and attentive to the customer I noticed not only myself but others as the waitress moved around the room and smiling was addictive.
The price was key expected to pay a rather heavy weight price due to the venue but was shocked when I received the bill. The creative side was very well thought out and applied. Even to the fry basket it was a great experience. Also would like to add bar section tvs around the bar section and corn hole board outside. Just an all around great experience.

Amazing service. We went for dinner this past weekend and see what the hype is about. A great menu with a mix of classics and some fun small plates. Highly recommend.

We got into town late and this was one of the few places close by that was open past 9pm that wasn’t fast food. Road weary, we were looking for something satisfying. The Madness did not disappoint! My husband had a mushroom Swiss burger that he said was phenomenal. I had the monster bento box and thoroughly enjoyed the variety (reminded me of high school lunch in Hawaii) and the fusion of sushi as a burger was surprisingly savory and delectable. The ambiance was lovely and upbeat and I enjoyed the funky decor. The service…. We were seated immediately however our server never brought us the appetizer we ordered not sure if it just got missed, but it wasn’t on the bill so no harm. She did seem more occupied with closing duties than with our table. I understand we were one of the last customers of the evening, however we did arrive an hour before closing. The owner came over at the end asked how the food was, which was phenomenal. I’d give it a solid 4.8 I’m bookmarking this for a return visit if I’m ever in the area again.

I really enjoyed my experience here. It’s a different kind of restaurant… I really love the artwork on the walls and the cute trendy people working there . The sushi was pretty good and we got the madness burger, which has a crab salad on top it … tasty. They were out of a few ingredients for drinks that we wanted but besides that it was a good experience. I would definitely go back from time to time.

I honestly can’t recommend The Madness highly enough! I’ve been coming here for years, and it just keeps getting better every single time. The food is superior to anywhere else and not just the sushi (which is always incredible), but the small bites and burgers too. The quality and consistency are unmatched.
A huge shoutout to Lacie-Lee for creating such a phenomenal atmosphere. The conversation, the laughs, the energy. She truly makes every visit special. She always has the best recommendations and somehow nails it every time. And the virgin cocktails? Absolutely the best!
Also, a shoutout to Donte, always welcoming, attentive, and adding to the great vibe that keeps me coming back. Truly, all of the staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
Some of my favorites are the gochujang banging wings, the Carolina roll, the Takoyaki balls, and the dirty bird sandwich, each one is perfection.

We ate at the newer restaurant location in Morganton last week during the TGIF Summer Concert Series night. There was a pretty long wait but we were able to snag seats at the bar so we ended up not having to deal with the line! The sushi was GREAT! I had the sandwich roll, while my sweetie had the sweetheart roll…Extra points for the way they make the rolls look like their namesake. Good drinks at good prices, too. We live about 30 mins away so we will DEFINITELY be back!
