Have been to Little Cannoli several times at their previous location, and this was our second trip to the new High St location. It’s always hard to not walk out of that bakery shop with multiple containers full of treats because they all are amazing!

I am so glad to see they are back! Don’t let the name convince you that cannolis is all they sale. They have the best baked goods I have tried. They are now located in a new spot right next to Gamberetti’s and happy to see that their dine in is big enough to gather and enjoy delicious baked goods in a warm comfortable location, I also saw they have expanded menu items. On this occasion we came by to buy their Lemon filled baked cookies. (Sorry I forgot the name)

I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE POST OFFICE TO OPEN & FOUND THE PLACE THAT USED TO BE IN THE REED OPERA HOUSE WHEN ROSEMARYS BABY & I MOVED TO OREGON SO OF COURSE POPPED IN. UHHH YUM I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE INSIDE OF THE VARIETY OF YUM TO PICK. THEY HAND PIPE & DIP YEAH A PRETTY PERFECT CANNOLI OUTSIDE OF BEING IN ITALY MAYBE. A FOR SURE GO GRAB A BOX OF YUM. I got some macarons, the lemon zesti, and raspberry jem. The blueberry macaron was by far the best one. The others ranged from bad to okay. The strawberry banana tasted nothing like either of those, it was more like chocolate. Overall, I was not impressed with the filling flavors but the cookie part itself was nice. The lemon zesti was not strong enough in the lemon flavor and the cookie was wet and not good. The raspberry jem had a much better cookie but the raspberry part was gummy and came off the cookie completely with the first bite. It’s also expensive, it was 19 and some change for 8 cookies.

Stopped by here on the way to Drum Bug and was met with the most wonderful smell of freshly baked goods. Had already eaten lunch so just got a sweet treat but with definitely be back for a sandwich or pizza soon. Guys were very polite.

The grilled pastrami sandwich with tomato soup and Earl Grey iced tea was outstanding! Funny, I thought I didn’t like tomato soup. The time and attention put into every thing you serve Is apparent and much appreciated.

Being an Italian~American; this little bakery tucked into the corner of The Reed Opera House is my “home away from home.” I adore the Lemon Zest Cookies!!!! Melt-in-your-mouth perfection!!! …have had the Napoleons and Cannolis too, I always go back for more, every Friday afternoon. I think my next stop will be for Pizelles!! At Christmastime, they made me up a little box with a sampling of these for a friend of mind. And of course, they now have another regular !!!!

I got a little bundle of sweets from this bakery on my way home yesterday. Little did I know, I was about to drive home in the biggest snow storm Portland has ever seen. I had to leave my car on a side street and walk the last half mile home, and I carried the treats through the snow to give to my husband to celebrate passing an exam at school. They were worth every step and the cold hands and the struggle – every bite impressed us with how well made each pasty was. They were delicious! I’ll be back for sure.
