I am visiting Florida from out of town. Overall I would go back because that was my first time trying fried Turkey and it did not disappoint. I could have lived without the fried conch because even though they were fried fresh they taste like frozen rubbery conch not fresh. Also the mystery lemonade is diabetic inducing sweet! I’d suggest drinking water with it but it’s good just a lot of sugar. It gets busy in there but overall the service was GOOD the food came out pretty quickly but the dining room was empty and the to go like long and about 3-4 workers to manager both areas. 1 thing I did not like was the plastic utensils I had to use for my food while dining in. I prefer heavy duty cutlery when I choose to dine in ! I hope they can add catfish to the menu that would be nice but I would be back for sure and spent about $44 I loved the Turkey leg Mac and cheese and rice equally.

I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful everything was! I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, collard greens and a slice of red velvet cake. I ordered online for pickup and everything was ready on time. I was surprised at how fresh the food was too. Even after driving back to my office to eat, all the food retained its heat until I was done eating :). Over all very very good and I think I just found my new favorite lunch spot. I defiantly recommend it!

Each item had a unique flair to it. I think this place has my new favorite lemon pepper wings! The sides were all great and I don’t think there was a single complaint from any of the 10+ people we ate with. Try the lobster bites!

Dropped in to The Licking in Miramar off flamingo and Miramar Parkway, Friday night around 10:30 PM and tried the grilled shrimp dinner with two sides. I went with the corn and the veggie rice. The price was $18.99 which I would say is a good price. I’m sure there’s many other restaurants that are charging much higher for the same dish. As far as food quality goes, I guess it was all good quality good portions for your money. I wasn’t too blown away by the flavors, but it was still good. If you’re looking for late night restaurant the licking is definitely at the top of the list. Worth checking out And clearly they’re not doing bad at all because they always seem to have plenty of business coming in and out so good for them and I wish them all the best.
