Twice I’ve ordered lunch here and they either seem to think people can’t tell the difference between chicken tikka masala and butter chicken, or they just keep messing up. Keep getting incorrect amounts of tikka masala and no butter chicken. Most disappointingly, the most recent order placed was missing the red and green chutney. Without those sauces, especially the green (which I love), the meal becomes really disappointing. I do like the gulab jamun. Just one is perfect b/c I could easily go through a whole bunch of these. But overall, I’ll be looking elsewhere when an Indian craving hits. Shame b/c I think the lunch special is a great deal and great way to try a variety of dishes.

Delicious food. We eat from here all the time- great butter chicken, saag paneer and malai kofta with garlic naan. Only slight negative is the smaller portion size (I’ve only ordered via grubhub delivery).

My wife and I were the only people there for a Sunday lunch, and the food was fine, but not great, even for a buffet. The chicken was tender and the naan supple, but the veg dishes were clearly slowly overcooked in the chafing dishes.
We were seated by the window (probably to give the illusion of more people being there–something my wife realized), which was fine at first, as we could look out and see people walking by, but the novelty faded as the sun beat in on us. The waitstaff was initially inattentive to the point that I had to go get the pitcher of water to refill our glasses, though the service did improve over the course of the meal. It troubles me to write this, and I hope Aroma improves, because there’s some potential here. I’ll try their takeout next to see if it’s an improvement.

If you love authentic, traditional fare, this is the place to get it! While I was photographing their menu, Aditya—the most personable owner—explained the complexities of Northern Indian cuisine to me. Then he sent me home with some of the most delicious Indian food I’ve ever tasted.

Aroma is fantastic! Indian cuisine is my favorite food, and I have tried several local Indian restaurants. Aroma is my favorite. The flavors, portion sizes, spice levels, and menu selections are the best. My favorite combo is the chicken makhani, vegetable samosa, cheese naan, and a mango lassi. I feel like the negative reviews are being posted by competitors. I have never had an issue with anything I’ve ordered.
