If I could give the library a 6 star rating I would. Easily my favorite bar I have been to downtown!!
A huge shoutout to my bartender, Alexis she was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Our drinks were made perfectly, and she kept the energy upbeat while still making everyone feel welcome. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving great service.
If you’re in downtown LAX, The Library is a must-visit. Great vibes, great drinks, and even better staff!!

definitely one of the (if not THE) best bar downtown!! drinks are great + not pricey, karaoke is always fun, and the staff is extremely friendly! alexis is quick with her service and always has a great attitude, it always makes my night when i see her working there!

Favorite bar ever! Amazing experience and there is always great deals for college students. The bartenders are fast and attentive. My friend and I had ordered a different drink that usually isn’t on a menu and this one sweet bartender named Alexis made sure it was perfect! Fun atmosphere too with an upper level for darts and pool and a lower level for moving and grooving!

I’ve noticed recent ratings that imply that this business is homophobic. I know Alexis is a responsible bartender that has 2 mom’s! Pretty sure she’s not kicking people out for that. This bar is for anyone looking for some fun! Maybe it’s time people consider their own drunken behavior.

I have been to this bar a handful of times, and this one was by far the best one I have been to. There was a bouncer at the door, I think his name was Connor Matt, and he was super nice to my friends and me. Also, I got to see him take fake id’s at the door, protecting our bars from the underage crowd!! Bartenders were great too, overall great experience!

The Library is legit my go-to in La Crosse. Drinks are strong, vibes are chill, and then there’s Isaac behind the bar, dude’s basically the mayor of downtown. He pours like he’s got six hands and remembers your order before you even sit down.
