We are Lake Charlevoix’s #1 outdoor restaurant with indoor seating available per weather conditions. We are in Ironton Cove at the start of the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. We have docks available on a first come, first serve basis. We have on site car parking too. We are located next to the historic Ironton Ferry. Come enjoy the beautiful grounds, delicious food, and fun atmosphere. As a reminder, no dogs are allowed.

I really enjoyed the beautiful lake view, which added a relaxing and scenic touch to the experience. The food was pretty good, and the overall atmosphere was fun and welcoming. I especially appreciated the outdoor bar area that offers plenty of games for guests to enjoy while waiting for a table.
Since they are only open seasonally, the timing was perfect for me as someone visiting from out of state. I’m glad I had the chance to check it out. The lobster rolls were amazing, fresh and full of flavor. I was also pleasantly surprised by the sweet potato fries served with PB&J. It was an unexpected combination, but it worked really well and added something unique to the meal.
I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This is probably the place that locals don’t want you to know about! Awesome vibe, friendly staff, and amazing food!
The nachos here were the biggest surprise. After 1 bite, it was game over, and they quickly disappeared
If you’re going for the best bang for the buck, I’d highly recommend their burger as it was delicious!
I’m not a huge lobster roll guy, but I ordered one anyway. While it was good, I can’t say I found it to be something I’d order again from a value standpoint.
Made in-house ice cream sandwich.. absolutely
Our server Granger was like Rainman and didn’t need to write anything down and did an outstanding job. The hostess Rebecca was a pleasure as well. This place is indeed a hidden gem. My only advice is to arrive early, grab a drink, and be prepared for an excellent meal!

Came here on a Monday night during Venetian Festival. Didn’t think it would be a long wait, but it was 70 minutes! With a toddler, we still waited and hoped it would be worth it.
After 75 minutes, we were seated – a table of 8 by the water. We put in an appetizer, the Bavarian pretzel. It was massive, coming with honey mustard, nacho cheese and pimento cheese. It fed all of us comfortably and we still had our entrees yet to arrive.
They showed up and each tasted fantastic. We had the nachos, bbq pulled pork, burger and lake perch (oh buoy!).
For dessert, the ice cream cookies. Mint chocolate chip with chocolate cookies were the star of the show.
To say we loved our meal would be an understatement. We came back 4 days later on our last night on vacation.
The first night we docked our boat there and the second we took the Ironton ferry by both car and by foot, to get to the restaurant.
If you’re in Charlevoix, go here. Don’t hesitate, just go. The vibes, the wait staff, and the food were top notch. Cannot wait to come back.

Great food and scenery. Trevor was our waiter and was super attentive to our table! The deck could use some more umbrellas or at least umbrellas that could tip- half of our group was in the sun and it was HOT! They were out of their lobster roll at 345 pm- major bummer! Go early because it gets really really busy!

Friday evening and the joint was jumpin. 1 1/2 hour wait. Immediately and miraculously we got 4 seats at the bar and was greeted by the friendly bartender. Very busy but we got our drinks and food order in a timely fashion, shortly after we got our drinks our food arrived almost as fast as McD. Perch baskets and the Asian Cashew Chicken Bowl were delicious with generous portions. $5 draft pints and a great offering of rums, you can’t go wrong. Also the food was very reasonably priced especially having the best location on the waters of Lake Charlevoix.

Came here specifically for the lobster roll after seeing several great reviews. It was 0/10. A friend and I split one and both of us picked out the “lobster” and just ate the bread it came on. It was fishy, rubbery and not seasoned. Paid $30 and didn’t have more than one bite each. The margaritas were great and the triple dip was great! We also got the crab cakes which we took one bite of and didn’t eat anymore because it was so fishy and repulsive. The atmosphere was fun, the service was just okay with not never attentive staff, the entree was atrocious. Overall a waste of an hour drive round trip.

Good food, fantastic scenery and wonderful service. We had the triple dip with chips and it was really good, something different than what one normally sees for an appetizer, and the lobster roll. The best part was meeting Grace, our server, she was friendly and attentive. Be sure and ask for her.

As soon as my family pulled up to the restaurant, I remembered picking a prize out of the treasure chest as a kid. Over a decade later, the place has grown from a casual shack to a full-menu restaurant and bar with merch and a wonderful atmosphere. Our wait was reasonable for a summer afternoon and the highlight of our visit was a pretzel bigger than anybody’s head and mocktails for the kids. Ben, the 14 year old host was adorable and our waitress Caroline was attentive to our group of nine throughout our whole visit. I’m so happy to see this place thriving, and it still has a treasure chest for the kids.

Great menu, full-service bar, and great views of Lake Charlevoix. Limited parking but some people parked along the side of Ferry Road. Your entire party needs to be present to be seated. We had young kids and they were able to be kept occupied in the yard game area off the side of the parking lot. Food, service, and drinks were excellent. Lobster roll was worth it. Kids also enjoyed watching the Ironton Ferry travel between two shores.
