Modern, unique, friendly, professional. These adjectives are SPOT ON! I’m sure there are plenty more than can be included. These are just some right off the top of my head that I experienced during my brunch visit on November 16, 2025.

It was busy at around 9:15 Saturday morning. My wait was at least 25 minutes for a party of one. The kind hostess suggested a seat at the bar if I didn’t want to wait that long. I took the seat at the bar! While there I chatted it up with other customers. We had pleasure conversations about Egg Republic in general, the owner, who was on site, and the staff. The owner’s rapport with his staff was wonderful to see.

Emma, the mixologist made me the most beautiful mimosa I ever saw! It was the Rose Xplosion mimosa. It was so unique from any other mimosa I ever had. It was made with a pack of Pop Rocks! I took a good picture of this beautiful masterpiece of a mimosa. I opted for the Avocado tast with two perfectly poached eggs on top. The meal was delicious. The mimosa was sexy. And the service was A+ service.

You should definately hit up Egg Republic for a fun brunch experience. You may have a bit if a wait but it will be worth it.

Had a bit of a mixed experience this morning when I visited for the first time… Our server was polite and attentive but didn’t seem to be in a very good mood.. thats fine though, we all have bad days…
Food was pretty okay. I had 2 scrambled eggs that were fine, bacon which was pretty good for a diner-style breakfast, hashbrowns which seemed to be cooked in a sheet pan and cut in squares which were pretty bland and had a lot of pale, non-crispy pieces because they were batch cooked instead of spread on a griddle like restaurants typically do. I had sourdough toast with my meal as well which didn’t taste like sourdough at all.
I also had orange juice which was fine but tasted like like it was from concentrate.
I dont mean to be overly critical here… My meal was -fine- but it wasnt great. I came to Egg Republic specifically because of all the glowing reviews I’ve heard. My wife loves this place but even she commented that it felt like corners were being cut today… Im not sure if I’ll be back, but if so I may try going on a weekday or something to see if the experience is better.

Egg Republic proved to be an unexpected gem during our weekend getaway to Fairbury, IL. My husband and I were searching for a breakfast spot before heading to the races, and after a quick online search, we decided to give Egg Republic a try. Despite the warmth inside due to a temporary issue with the air conditioning, the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff immediately won us over.
We were so impressed by our Saturday breakfast that we chose to return Sunday morning, even though we anticipated a busier environment before our drive back home to Brazil, IN. Sure enough, the restaurant was bustling with visitors, and the atmosphere was noticeably louder than the previous day. My husband, who isn’t comfortable in large crowds, was initially seated at a small table quite close to the lively group of guests. Sensing his discomfort, I approached the hostess to explain our preference for a quieter spot.
The hostess—whose professionalism and attention to guest needs were remarkable—immediately sprang into action. As a business owner myself, I could tell she truly understood the importance of accommodating her guests. She asked us to wait briefly in the lobby while she found a better table and, within just five minutes, seated us at a cozy corner booth. This gesture went above and beyond what I expected, especially on a packed Sunday morning with limited seating options.
Our server was equally wonderful—attentive, friendly, and unfazed by the busy room. Even in the heat, every staff member seemed pleasant, helpful, and genuinely committed to ensuring a positive dining experience. Special thanks and a heartfelt shout out go to Emily and the entire Egg Republic team for making us feel welcome and valued.

I ordered pick up and they didn’t give me my drinks initially just handed me a bag. I had to ask for the drinks. Then I get home and I’m missing the biscuits from the southern comfort skillet. I also am missing the egg, as well as the added pickles and chipotle sauce on the rustic burger. I tried calling the number listed on the emailed receipt multiple times, no answer. It was hard to understand the voicemail it appeared to be a random persons number. I also called the number listed on google multiple times, No answer. The google number also has a full voicemail so I couldn’t leave a voicemail. Not sure why there are two numbers.
Update: I went in to get it resolved. The manager was very kind and offered a gift card or food to be remade. I opted for the food to be remade. I waited for a little over an hour. I asked for an update and was told they hadn’t even started making the food due to poor communication with the kitchen. At that point I asked for the gift card because they were closing in 30 minutes and I didn’t have anymore time to spend waiting for them. They were unsure of how to load the gift card initially so I do have some concern that it’s not loaded correctly. I did get a receipt for the gift card. The manager was very kind but the poor service and their lack of/poor communication from within negates that. I will give them another chance at some point but this whole experience has made me second guess choosing Egg Republic.

My husband and I love to come here for brunch! I have celiac disease and they are very accommodating to my gluten free needs: using a separate pan/utensils. They have amazing gluten free pancakes with a 3 dollar up charge. Gluten free toast is great as well! The fig tree omelet is delicious/sweet and salty/savory (if you’re wanting to try something new/different), the butcher skillet is another favorite. My husband likes the country fried steak. Everything always looks amazing presentation wise, quick service. A little pricey but worth it for a safe gluten free brunch.

Came in on a busy Sunday and met Olivia D our server. We found her to have the best customer service as a !waitress. Her friendliness and asked her we had church planned we needed to get our food out was exceptional! Everything fresh, made right and a hot breakfast!!! Can’t even express in words how amazing this place is. Love the vibe, absolutely affordable, and frankly has the kindest, nicest employees. We went for breakfast today and not only was the food piping hot and fresh, our waiter, Lionel, was absolutely amazing. He helped my mom pick out a meal that went with the drink special she ordered, the Blush Bellini. He was extremely knowledgeable and on top of everything – water, coffee, and creamer refills, condiment refills, you name it. I wish there was a Lionel at every restaurant in town. He even brought over a device that made edible bubbles and sprayed the table with bubbles. How fun!!!

Best brunch place in Illinois, we drove 2 hours from Chicago to have brunch here. The atmosphere is fantastic and so are the drinks and food. Service was awesome and our server took very good care of us. We stumbled upon this place last year when we needed a quick place to have brunch but we decided to drive down here again just to have brunch, it is that good
