In town for work and wanted a great steak a glass of red wine. Copper Rill did not disappoint! Colleen recommended the mushrooms, French onion soup and the Black and Blue tenderloin… so good, ordered a second glass of the Rioja to savor it longer! Finished everything off with the molten chocolate cake with raspberry sauce… now for a stroll along the Falls. Best night ever!

My two sisters and I had reservations for 7:30 p.m. Once we were seated, our server took great care of us. We started with the shrimp appetizer, which we loved—the flavors were spot on, and the texture was perfect. The blackberry mojito was refreshing and well-balanced.
My sister and I ordered the steak, while my other sister ordered the salmon. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were also delicious. Every item we ordered came out promptly and was clearly prepared with care. It’s evident that the staff and chef take great pride in the food and drinks they serve.

I rarely leave reviews but I felt obligated to after the meal my wife and I had last night. We are in on vacation for our anniversary, and made a reservation online. I have to say, this was one of the best meals we’ve had. We started with a couple Moscow mules, and the ginger beer they used in them was top tier. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer, and they were incredible as well. She had the dinner salad, and to had the chicken and rice soup. Both were very good. I had the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. She had the haddock, and it was perfect, light and flaky. We were completely stuffed, but we saw the owner walk by with the apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream, and she mentioned that it was her grandmothers recipe, so we felt inclined. So glad we did, because it was incredible. A cobbler made like a piece of birthday cake almost. My description does not do it justice. Not a bad word to say about the food, and the owner herself stopped by our table multiple times to make sure we enjoyed everything. If we ever come back to Idaho Falls, we will be coming back! Thank you again for a great experience!

This is a very nice quietly elegant restaurant. This was our 5th visit, and it never disappoints! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the Hostess makes sure that you are well taken care of. They have a great menu and beverage list. Easy access for seniors, and it doesn’t have that cold room atmosphere that makes you want to hurry up and eat so you can go get warm. We genuinely feel welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend that you try this establishment!

Great meal, atmosphere, and wait staff. It was my first time trying swordfish and it was cooked perfectly. No fishy taste and super tender. Our soup/salad and entree were brought out at a respond time after ordering. Great place to celebrate your birthday!!

Service was amazing!! Stopped here after a day of meetings and it was so nice, and the food was so good. Curried chicken skewers were delicious. Both entrees (prosciutto wrapped tiger shrimp and steak with mushrooms) were so so good! Staff checked on us repeatedly, and we were able to get in without a reservation. Drinks were tasty. No complaints, an absolutely lovely end to my work day!

Great service and atmosphere but was honestly some of the blandest mashed potatoes and ribeye I’ve ever had… Guess I went on an off night because my experience didn’t match these reviews at all. $45 for a steak that was 1/4 inch thick and one scoop of mashed potatoes for it to have no flavor, I had two bites and didn’t touch my plate. They were fine with it and let me pay and leave. Stick to Longhorn, better steak and sides and 1/2 the price.

LOVED our experience at the Copper Rill. You can tell they put a lot of attention to detail on having the guest experience be the best it can be. Waitresses were all incredibly friendly, interested in the guests and super informative. The food was delicious. I had the baked haddock, and the hints of ginger and mango in the lobster slaw was delightful. I have no notes as far as service and food. My only critique would be the atmosphere. I would maybe invest in some more different chairs and add lighting or a centerpiece to the tables. You deliver such a high end experience, and the tables kind of read “cheap”. If you upgraded those, it would feel like a high end restaurant that I would expect to find in New York or LA. thank you for a great date night!

Food and service was excellent! I loved the flat iron steak, mashed potatoes and veggies, and pepper chicken chowder! I went ahead and ordered the apple cobbler and ice cream, it was very good! I’m traveling on business so I didn’t have anyone to share the dessert with but it would be perfect for two.
I felt it was very reasonably priced for the quality and portions. Everything was the perfect temp and the steak was cooked perfectly! I was impressed by a full tea menu as well. Service by Avery and the other staff was excellent as well.
As I was alone I was seated at a small table which unfortunately was in the middle of the room, I would have preferred something off to the side and could have requested it but I didn’t.
I’m not sure if I will be back during my trip but I would highly recommend Copper Rill!
