Social Profile:

Tim & Julia Jones, UK-natives, have been visiting Round Rock since 2017. After buying a part-time property in the Texas town, Jones and his wife quickly began spending more time in Round Rock. Despite their love for their new home, the pair greatly missed their local village pub/restaurant back in the UK, which is why they decided to open The Kenny Fort Pub. The restaurant will bring a little bit of the UK to Round Rock, introducing Texas to a modern version of the traditional British Pub Food.

Laid-back British eatery with a bar offering fish ‘n’ chips, burgers, weekend brunch & Sunday roast.

The bangers and mash was awesome. Fish and chips portions are huge. Great place to check out if you are looking for good British food.

We live around this area and we were surprised to find this new place. We came to watch soccer and the place was full, with only few spots open. They have big screen and small screens by the bar. Server was great and food was ok. We had the Salmon linguine and green chicken salad. We liked their sour beer. Restroom is clean and spacious. I am giving it 4 star because the AC was not working and it was humid and hot. Having some portable fans might be helpful when the temperature gets too hot.

I loved the scotch egg! Really good, and glad I could go to a British pub to try it. I got the Paddington Burger and added veggies to it, but they asked me how I wanted it, I said Medium, and they sent it to the table Well Done. Service took longer than expected, but not because of the waitress, it was more so waiting on the food. Pimms Cup was good, and I’ve never had it before so it was a good experience trying out British food here.

I was seemingly the only Brit in there at 7pm on a Monday night!! The Fish and Chips were excellent. The curry sauce was more of an Indian green curry, where I prefer the yellow curry myself. Reasonable selection of beer coupled with friendly staff.

The scotch egg was great… then it went downhill. The fish and chips were meh. The chips (fries) were tough and over cooked, and the fish tasted fishy . The server was very disinterested, had to flag her down a few times, we were disappointed.

This place was excellent. Our server was very attentive. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. It was a really nice piece of fish. The batter was crispy as were the chips. The tarter sauce and the curry sauce were both good and seemed house made. I even liked the peas which I didn’t think I would. I was there with friends on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was surprisingly dead. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I’m excited to go back and try the Full English Breakfast and the Sunday Roast Dinner.

Haven traveled to London and ate just a blocks away from the Tower Bridge, I can say that the food was a good attempt to real thing. The scotched egg was very good and better than what I tried to accomplished my first few times making the dish. The North Atlantic Cod was perfectly cook and paired well with their sauces. I do wish the batter had more of the beer taste in there. Do be prepared it is as long as my forearm (for an average size man). You could order this for two but there is an $4 up charge for doing so. The sausages were delicious, they were the hero of their dish. The IPA went down smooth for a local beer. But I do encourage to come here to try everything, support the local Austin FC team and cheer on with fans.

Fish was Incredible. Gigantic pieces. Pictures don’t do it justice. Cooker to perfection. Pretzels beer cheese dip and Scott eggs came to the table on the cooler side. Loved the Pretzels. Staff was super sweet young lady with accent. Fun date place. Good atmosphere. Nice drink selection.
