We had our daughters wedding this past weekend at the Keep and honestly what a great venue! We could not have asked for a better place to host the wedding! Melissa and staff were very accommodating and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend The Keep to host your next event!

My boyfriend and I went to The Keep tonight for Valentine’s Day and had the best time. We got a booth in the corner which made it a private and amazing night for us on Valentine’s Day. For dinner instead of entrées we got all the appetizers on the menu. Everything was so good 10/10 on food, service, ambiance, parking, wait time and it was so easy to make a reservation online!

Our first experience at the Keep for valentine’s was pretty decent! We had made reservations well over a month ago, however, we were seated in an area with absolutely no view and with other tables around us. This was pretty disappointing as other two-party couples were seated near the windows and such. I know you can’t reserve the upstairs online, which is interesting. You would think reservations would have priority for the better seats, but alas. The food itself was 8/10. It was pretty good! We started off with the calamari, which was tender, crispy, and seasoned well. We both got the rack of lamb and a filet, which were delicious! I will say, I wish they had more of a variety or a rotating menu as most of the entree options are food options that other fine dining restaurants have in the area. We love to look for unique things! The food was the perfect portion size. We ended with the creme brulee, which was the smallest creme brulee I have ever had at a fine dining place. We are accustomed to the oval size ramekin that is perfect for two folks, but this one was a small personal size one for $12 (the same price as other establishments). We finished it in about 2 bites each. The creme brulee was very creamy, however! The service itself was a little bit awkward as well, our server just made some awkward commentary and showed up at the wrong times but she was attentive. Overall, it was $133+tip for our meal which is on par with other places in Missoula. I’m not sure if we’ll be back for the full experience, maybe sitting at the bar with a few cocktails/appetizers would be better for us.

First— the good: service staff are fantastic at their jobs. Cara was a wonderful bartender who recommended a delicious cocktail. We didn’t get the name of our server, but he was accommodating and did his best to rectify the issues we had with our food. Our appetizer (the ribs) had good flavor, though the cook was inconsistent so that half of the meat was incredibly dry. The parts that were tender were delicious. The Caesar dressing was incredible, and the grilled prawns were cooked perfectly. However , the entree is where a meal should shine. Which brings me to…
