When I entered the Karaoke Palace, it was like walking into a 1950’s diner with an authentic soda fountain. A drink purchase is required. The song selection appears infinite as they had every sing requested, including some strange ones. The crowd started out small, however, as the night wore in, the place became packed. Everyone from Whitman College students, to tourists, to locals filled the place. The talent ranged from great attempts to the next American Idol. I had immense fun. I will definitely return to this venue

Genuinely had an awesome time. I don’t know how people are so shocked that they aren’t allowed to go in and not buy anything. I don’t go to restaurants and sit down and not eat, it’d be rude as all get out. They have food and non alcoholic drinks, you don’t have to drink to be there. Probably going back next weekend with a friend.

Went here for my friend’s bachelorette party and at first it seemed great, cute place with karaoke, etc. until we were told we were going to have to leave due to half our group (of about 12) weren’t drinking to make room for “paying customers”. Keep in mind, the other half of us HAD ordered drinks and were still currently drinking them. Half of our group left and it was quite a while before anyone came and actually sat at the other half of our table. When they did, it was a total of two guys. There wasn’t a line out the door or anything and our songs hadn’t even been called for karaoke yet. We aren’t a rowdy bunch, so it was a huge bummer. We asked to change one of our karaoke songs and it was seemingly a huge hassle. Moral of the story, don’t go with a group! They even had a table large enough for all of us, apparently that was only offered if the whole group was drinking. Probably a fine place to go if you’re a group of 4 or less and want to drink continuously throughout the night in order to keep your table.

This little gem of a place located in downtown, Walla Walla is the number one destination for all your karaoke needs. Upon being greeted at the door you will notice an array of awesome decorations and memorabilia from numerous decades. The charming atmosphere you will peek your interest right off the bat. And when it comes time to sing, KJ Kurt will always greet you with a smile. When singing you will notice a sweet sound system, and an extensive song selection too. Feel free to order some of their tasty food and browse a very nice selection of beers and other malt beverages. And they are family friendly with all ages karaoke between certain hours as well. Honestly, I can say after doing karaoke for many years this is the most fun I’ve ever had doing it! Nita and Kurt are the most welcoming hosts. Stop by the Karaoke Palace with your family and friends today!
