What started out as a nice outing, quickly turned into being a night of sub-par service.
The waitresses were very nice and helpful, and most of the food came out fairly fast, which was very impressive. All that quickly ended as one person from our partys meal took give or take 30 min (whos counting until the 10 mark) to come out. Mind you, it was a deli sandwich and a drink, not something that required a line of michilen star chefs and time to marinate.

The bad turned to worse when it took the waitresses a while to get the dessert menue to us, and even longer for it to come out. When it did come out, the deep-fried oreos didn’t have ice cream on the side as it should have, and the churros looked like they were thrown on a plate, with the ice cream already melting. The last partys desert wasn’t available, which is OK, but it took them like 20 min to tell us that. I wouldn’t usually be all Karen like about the small details, but this is supposed to be a nicer place, and that’s what we intended to pay for.

The seating was very tight, and it seemed that there was a bit of a wait filling up.

My overall review of this place is that the food is good, nice variety, and a bunch of unique options. the prices are resonable, and I would recommend take out from here.

In-house eating is not something I recommend. Although the waitresses were friendly (can’t say the same about the waiters, one kept on bumping into a stroller parked next to our table), the in-house just wasn’t it. Stay humble.

One of the best kosher food I had.
Big portions for cheap prices. Open kitchen, delicious non alcoholic drinks.
Seat and tables not so clean, staff a bit stressed.
But food is absolutely mouth-watering!
Highly recommend.

Amazing food and menu. We went the majority of nights we were in Teaneck. Wish they would open in Dallas, Boca, 5 Towns, everywhere! Hard to believe they could do that much variety well, but they do. And a rare, affordable Kosher restaurant. Extra bonus is it is BYOB and there is a kosher liquor store a few doors down!

Had a great time with my family and the service was great, thanks Chris! All the food was really good, especially the Queen Anne fries, you can see my brother enjoyed his Morning burger and the Southwest chicken sandwich and salad were really good (the salad had more chicken than salad!!)!!!! The Beef Barbacoa is fine, the meat has an interesting flavor. Thanks Humble Toast!

Great food and great service! The Queen Anne fries are a great treat, as is the knish. I had the Southern Chicken Sandwich, which was very good. The hot sauce was barely hot, but I understand that most of their clientele can’t handle anything spicier. And they even stamp their logo on the bun! I do wish they wouldn’t use so much disposable cutlery and dishware.

Definitely a place that cares about a good product.
I would suggest the pastrami for anyone who likes the classics with a hip twist. The food took a while tho would definitely take that into consideration.

Edit: On a second try I was absolutely blown away by the change in literally everything. The service was lightning fast and the food was incredible. The French Dip was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life. I would also suggest getting the Nuggs if your a fan of classic crunchy nuggets.

Really cool menu!! Food is unique and delicious. We especially liked the pizza.

Management, PLEASE take note. When you serve saucy appetizers (we got the queen’s Anne nugs), DON’T serve it on paper. Ours was on a small aluminum tray that was lined with this thin paper. The paper got all wet from the sauce, and started separating into the food. I found myself pulling small pieces of paper out of my mouth. Not enjoyable!!!

Other than that, everything was great.
