This place is under new ownership since pandemic. It’s my neighborhood pub. I always get the “Grasshopper” drink. Alan makes the best cocktails. Thursday nights are board games night and Wednesday nights usually have karaoke, bands or burlesque show. The place is always clean. Alan is probably the best bartender I have ever encountered. Highly recommend.

We went after MOTS. I ordered the meat pies but they weren’t that good. The G&T I ordered was weak, especially for the price. The ambiance was rough. You have to order at the bar. The best thing was the acoustic trio with Latin music (I don’t remember the name but was mesmerising). I don’t really see myself going back.

The owner is a really neat guy. He is supportive of local talent and has a way of making you feeling at home. There is no gl8tz or glamor. The drinks are good. We do not know about the food the chef was sick so the kitchen was closed.

If you want amazing drinks, Alan’s your guy. He’s a master barman who would suggest you a drink you didn’t know you wanted, and make the best version of it. He also gives personal attention to everyone whenever possible. Their beer selection is good, and the pies are also delicious!

Whenever I’m visiting my Bay area friends, this is our go to chill spot. Friendly, wicked smart owner/bartender Allan is always delightful and attentive to every customer. It’s clear he’s working hard to change the vibe and create a great neighborhood hang. The drinks are perfection, with a lot of specialty homemade items with Kiwi creativity. I’m already looking forward to my next trip up!

Already a good bar but now it has a great coffee bar in the morning. Hands down the best coffee bar in town. Seasonal favorites like a PSL are given a fresh update with actual pumpkin, not just a sugar syrup. The breakfast pies are delicious and the staff is the best!

I love this bar. the vegan burger and sausage roll are fantastic! So glad there are veggie options. The owner and bar tenders are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy their themed nights: karaoke, stand up comedy, games night (lots of board games available). Met quite a few new friends from hanging here. People are really friendly.
