First they could not find my order, then when I found the email confirmation they told me all but one of my sides was out of stock that I preordered. Customer service there is awful. Not sure the point to preorder a meal for a holiday to not have the meal or a phone call from a business saying a large portion of it is out of stock.

The employee made a food delivery driver wait until she had prepared brand new orders for a whole bunch of us customers who walked in after him. He was told he would have to wait until she was done with all of us. If my order had been just for me I would have left. It was gross. This guy is out here trying to make a living and she didn’t care how long he had to wait. I won’t go in again. It was really rude.

Don’t know how this place is still in business. The prices are absurd!!! This place is supposed to be a soup, salad, & sandwich shop. I guess 1 out of 3 isn’t bad. No soup, no tomatoes, so no salad. Ordered the Classic Ham Sandwich (no tomatoes) thinking it would be stuffed with ham..Nope!!! Hope they cater better.

Called to reserve a ham on Tuesday afternoon, young lady that took my call would not allow me to make a reservation because she said there were plenty so they were not allowed to reserve hams. Today same girl refused to sell me a ham because I didn’t have a reservation that she would not allow me to make. When I explained I tried to the reservation she said too bad that was yesterday. Wish I could give less than one star for service. Called to speak to a manager but the phone was not answered

Awesome cafe to have a wonderful sandwich made with real whole muscle meat rather than processed ham that you get from other deli’s. I always buy my ham’s and turkey’s for the holidays and throughout the year and just love them along with all the sides such as mashed potatoes, swert potato casserole, dressing, etc. And cakes and pies. Never will I go to the trouble of making these items at home again when I can get them from honeybaked ham cafe. Heat and eat with the taste that Grandmother made when I was growing up. Thankyou for being in New Bern!!

My husband And I decided on Honey Ham for lunch. The website says dine in. There is outside no inside. It was raining so we left for Firehouse Subs. Before we left we placed an order for a ham for Christmas. The person was nice and helpful. She said she was the only one there making sandwiches and working the front. They won’t be in business much longer.

Absolutely delicious food each time I have been. The staff are friendly and food comes out fast. Took my son there yesterday for lunch, his first time there he got the roast beef sandwich and said it was very good. I get their Honey Baked Ham sandwiches with the fruit salad.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The Ham and Bean soup is beyond delicious. The food is consistently good, the service is wonderful, and the people who work there are very nice to the customers. Great for eat-in and take out.
