My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch on our last day in Sleep Hollow. We sat at the bar and enjoyed several drinks and the bratwurst. The bartenders were friendly, helpful, and quick with service. The drinks were excellent and the food was tasty. With 30 drinks on tap, there is easily something for everyone. The boyfriend tried the old fashioned on tap even though he isn’t a cocktail person and couldn’t leave without getting a second one. We were pleasantly surprised by the bright, open atmosphere and fun Horseman touches. From the “leather” bound menus to the Horseman purse hooks under the bar, there is something interesting everywhere we looked. Make sure to walk around the large upstairs to see the authentic Sleepy Hollow costumes and artwork before you leave!

This is a really enjoyable place to spend time. I went for lunch with my 4 yr old. Kids menu is short but the chicken tenders were a hit. The fries were perfect. The fried chicken sandwich and truffle fries slapped. Ordering via QR code was easy and the food came out crazy fast.

As a huge fan of the Sleepy Hollow story, particularly the Headless Horseman, this place is a must. I loved the screen worn costumes that were on display, as well as the art along the wall. The atmosphere just felt right while sitting at the bar, and the bartenders were great! The food options were a tad limited, but definitely a non issue if you know what you’re getting into. They had 29 drinks on tap, with one of them being an Old Fashioned, which was by far the best Old Fashioned I have ever had. And yes, you read that correctly, an Old Fashioned, complete with bourbon, on tap. And it was delightful. Whether you live in the area, are passing through, or in town on vacation, I highly recommend stopping in The Hollows. I already can’t wait to go back.

Vibes are great with the indoor outdoor setup and comfy couches outside. Seat yourself and a mix of table styles with high tops, low fours, long shared tables and outdoor lounge seating. They have a kids corner with a play table with magnitiles! Standard pub grub and a good beer list. Order via a qr code is a bit buggy and slow and it’s hard to track someone down to help, but as long as you’re there to hang and enjoy and not in a rush it’s fine.

The Hallows is my new favorite place. The food is pretty good. My experience there has always been positive. However, this Saturday evening around 6:30 was a surprise. I went in to get some takeout. I was told by this guy in a DeCicco vest…..(He looked like a manager) and a harsh tone of voice, that because they were so busy take out was not available. My response was, it’s too busy to order food? He said the only way to get service was to sit at a table. From what I saw there were no available tables.
I was on their website and there was no information about no takeout on a busy Saturday night. Also Mr DeCicco vest guy watch your tone.

Amazing place to sit outside and get good drinks and food. It’s not a five star restaurant, but that’s not what it’s trying to be. Pizza, truffle fries and happy hour made for a great time. Great patio view and after drinks you can pop into Decicco’s and pick up some things. It’s a win/win.
