My husband and I have been here three times for dinner, and every visit has been fabulous. The food is always served quickly and hot, and we absolutely love the salad bar. The servers have been friendly, attentive, and make you feel well taken care of. Consistently a great experience—highly recommend!

We were traveling through and found this gem on-line. The drive off from 32 was definitely worth it! The menu is not just burgers and fries with many items you wouldn’t expect from a roadside kitchen. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The food was delicious! I wish we didn’t live 250 miles away or we would be back.

Recently ,I had the pleasure of eating some delicious food from the highland south .
My wife & the girls went to eat here & we’re kind enough to bring me home a meal to eat for dinner ,since I could not accompany them .
I got the pork Tenderloin sandwich ,with cheese sticks and a house salad .
The tenderloin was delicious ,it was thick and had a amazing flavor ,easily the best ones I have had in years !
The house salad was fresh & the perfect size to go with a meal ,the cheese sticks were juicy & delicious ,with a nice crisp breading & a ton of flavor ! They include pickle spears ,which pair very nicely with tenderloin & were fresh and crisp.
Since I was working and couldn’t eat this right away after they got it ,it had to be put in the fridge and heated back up in the air fryer so it would be even better fresh I am sure ,but I would happily eat this reheated any day of the week !
I look forward to trying each and every thing on their menu !

The fish basket has been my favorite of menu selections tried. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy are quite tasty for “restaurant fare”. They are quite obviously not homemade but they do have flavor and pleasant consistency.
All of the appetizers I have tried have been quite tasty, with he okra and mushrooms being my favorites.
The salad bar is sub par. Though once a draw, it is now, comparatively, overpriced and the selection not as great. The broccoli salad was not good at all and my companion was saddened by the lack of items other than salad/toppings as she had ordered salad bar only. If going for the salad bar you remember from the “old Y”, you’ll not be pleased.
Overall, I’ll go back and I am sure I’ll have a tasty meal.

Absolutely amazing , we started with just the salad bar then decided to split a fish sandwich, All I can say was this sandwich was absolutely amazing, picture perfect, 2 huge pieces of delicious Haddock, we will definitely make the drive out there again . Service was amazing , friendly and made us feel right at home , this restaurant deserves to be praised, Thank you so much for making our day even more special
