It’s a gas station also so this isn’t a fancy place but there was a record player and the chef was super nice! Out of everything we ate for breakfast there – the tacos with the awesome sauce is where it’s at and the chef really did great on the chocolate chip pancakes! My biscuits and gravy was good but really the tacos and awesome sauce was better in my opinion. We stopped here for breakfast before taking our kids out on the boat for the day and it was a good place to stop for breakfast that was near our little cabin.

This place lived up to its name! The Hidden Gem did not disappoint. Great omelets, Texas toast, bacon and chocolate chip pancakes. The chef Eric was very serious about making sure each meal was well prepared. If we weren’t stuffed we’d be going back to have lunch! Give this place a try! You won’t be disappointed!

First time here (visiting area). Wanted a local lunch opportunity and chose this cafe because of the positive reviews. Was surprised it was located within a mini-mart/neighborhood market, but decided to check it out. The young man who helped us was able to accomodate my special dietary needs and was happy to help me. Both hubby and I loved the food he made for us. Drinks needed to be self purchased through the store. There is around six 2-4 person tables. We enjoyed eating here. Everyone was friendly.

Definitely a hidden gem. I swing by here for breakfast sandwich, and it did not disappoint. Bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas toast… the kind you can’t make better at home. Eric was very kind, and even explain to me how he got the egg to be the perfect size of a Texas toast, which made for a surprisingly unmessy eating experience. 10/10.

A real ‘hidden gem’. If you are looking for a well prepared breakfast or lunch, this little place is wonderful. It’s obvious Eric cares about the food he prepares. I had pancakes and bacon and it was honestly the best pancake breakfast I’ve had in my 70 years! Wife had sausage and egg biscuit and loved it as well. Small place and not much ambiance but if you want good food made to order this is your place!

What a fantastic little gas station food counter. It’s pretty good food for a cheap price! I got the pancakes, eggs, toast, and the Grown up grilled cheese special which was the grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato basil bisque. All for about $13. It was truly enough food for 2 meals. It was all fantastic! Mighty impressed.

Truly a hidden gem. This diner is inside a gas station and has elevated what gas station food combos can be. My wife got a grilled chicken salad and I got a Philly cheesteak sloppy joe. My the sandwich was sooo decadent and savory. I loved every bite. The bread was buttery and soft. The salad was huge and full of fresh veggies and perfectly cooked grilled chicken. Nothing even remotely wilted.

I’ve been here several times and the food is always Delicious and Fresh! It is some of the best down home cooking I’ve ever had! One of my favorites is the beef tips and rice.
