The vibe here is SO FUN! I love bringing people here when they go to myrtle beach with me. The food is pretty great and its so kid friendly. They kids love the drinks and bubbles to play in. During summer they have live music . Its birthday fun and lots of tvs for sports. Definitely a place to well…hangout. I love their crab and my son loves their burgers. Lots of parking in the circle and wheel chair accessible. Don’t forget to write your wish on the wish wall.

Atmosphere was amazing, lively and fun to be. We made reservation early in the morning for 16 people and this place is huge, great for small groups to large groups and even single or with family. The servers were friendly and helpful with the orders. Food was good but the vibe was great. They thanked veterans, active military, police officers, firefighters, teachers and wishes people with birthday for the month. Everyone was invited to dance together and had karaoke later. Restroom were clean and have diaper changing stations with liners. We all had fun enjoyed our dinner with family and friends.

I recently tried out a new spot called The Hangout while visiting last week, and I was so impressed with the fun, upbeat vibes this place gives off! My dad was thrilled to take me, and I could instantly see why. The Hangout has a massive amount of seating both indoors and outdoors, so there’s plenty of room whether you’re looking to soak up the sun or stay cool inside. One of the highlights is their huge outdoor area designed for live bands such a great setup for music lovers.
What really makes The Hangout unique is the interactive experience. Depending on the day, the staff gets everyone involved with trivia games, dancing on the tables, and other fun activities that bring the whole crowd together. It’s family-friendly, but also perfect for groups of adults who want a more lively night out. Honestly, it struck me as the kind of place that would be an absolute blast for a bachelorette dinner, I know my group would get a huge kick out of it!
As for the food, it didn’t disappoint. My brother ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my dad had a cheeseburger, both were fresh, flavorful, and filling. I went with the chicken sandwich, which was delicious and fresh as well, though I personally would’ve loved if the chicken had been cut up and tossed fully in the buffalo sauce. Still, it was very tasty overall.
If you’re in the area, definitely make The Hangout a stop, whether you’re with family, friends, or a rowdy group, it’s an experience that guarantees laughs, good food, and memories you won’t forget!

Our experience at The Hangout Restaurant/ venue was epic!
Inspite of more than 300 guests the manager JD came to our table and greeted us after hearing we were first time guests and heard we were searching for a home in this area.
Our waitress NALA was spectacular!
We don’t believe it is possible to do better in food,service,entertainment or management of a restaurant as JD and his entire staff have done.
This was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach and The Hangout Restaurant.
We are now customers for life!

Oh my, that place is fire! We loved it here, food was delicious we all got burgers. Even my 5 year old son ate a whole adult sized burger. The drinks that come with shark were so fun and the kids kept the toy. It was so cool when the dj requested all the bday guys to stand up on the chairs. And we loved the vibe and the music was good too. Kids has such a big fun on the slide going between 1st and 2nd floor. Definitely coming back to the Hangout next time we come to Myrtle beach.

Overall the place was wonderful. Amazing food. The atmosphere was fantastic.! The only problem was our server. She didn’t really come see if we needed anything. She came to take our order, and then the check. Also the 18 percent gratitude was kinda ridiculous. We always tip the waiter, not the company. BUT over all experience it was good.

The Hangout is definitely a good time. We went in off season, but are excited to come back during summer. Lindsay G was tentative and friendly and super helpful. The crowd interaction kept the kids entertained and the food portions to price ratio was on point. The Shark Attack was delicious! Definitely recommend!
