Just had a fantastic meal at the Gurkha Palace. If you plan to visit look out for the Cheques pub, the restaurant is in the rear part of the building. I can’t understand why it wasn’t busier (Thursday night). Parking is easy and there were lots of tables free. I’m sure if it was busy I would have scored them 5 for atmosphere.

Utterly tasty curries. Had the buffet . Selection of lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes, with fresh naan and rice. Kept going back for more. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful time, the food was authentic and flavoursome!! They even made it spicy on request. Met the owner Prem and Amit the bar attendant. The service was amazing and will deffo plan a return.

First time ordering from here ,this is by far the best and we had popperdoms and a pot of mint dip which we received free which was nice surprise. Meal was outstanding full of flavour definitely going to order again ,highly recommend.

Wonderful experience!!
I went there with my wife to have dinner and we ordered quite few items and everything coming out of the kitchen was hot, fresh and authentic Indian food.
We loved each item which we ordered. Strongly recommend this restaurant. For me this is by far the best and authentic Indian restaurant in the Oxford area.

We had a great meal last night. The atmosphere was just right, the food excellent. We do like our Indian food after spending 18 years in Dubai and this was good, very good. Great Staff who showed an interest, the owner was great.

What a beautiful place to enjoy authentic cuisine, with staff and service second to none, in fabulously comfortable surroundings.
I didn’t get chance to eat here, but it’s on my bucket list for next time.
No doubt, from what I see front of house, it will be something to remember!
