The place was nice and clean, with good service overall.
The falafel with tzatziki sauce was definitely the highlight — perfectly seasoned and crispy outside, soft inside.
I ordered a medium steak kabob, but it came out overcooked with more of a boiled texture instead of that grilled, juicy medium I was expecting.
For dessert, I tried the baklava ice cream for the first time. The flavor was sweet, though the texture was a bit too icy for my taste. I wasn’t sure if that is how is supposed to be.
Still, a pleasant experience overall.

IMPRESSED! I had the gyro with lemon wedges and it was so delicious! BIG portion sizes and plenty of parking and sitting areas inside! Staff were all very nice and welcoming! They even clean up you plateware!

Great little “fast food” place for Greek/Mediterranean food! Stopped here for a bite after spending the day with a friend, wandering around a large antique mall. We both were tired and a little bit grungy. We didn’t want to go someplace “fancy”, but didn’t want your typical fast food either. My friend is also gluten sensitive, so we needed a place that would accommodate that as well. After a Google search of the area, we decided to try The Great Greek. We were not disappointed. It’s a small, clean, and bright place. My friend had the Great Greek Rice Bowl with chicken, I had the Great Greek Gyro with Lamb & Beef, and we shared an order of Hummus with Pita Bread. NO complaints about ANYTHING! The gyros reminded me of the ones I ate back in the NY diners I used to frequent and which, IMHO, have Greek food that cannot be beat. They are also VERY generous with the gyros meat. I could only eat 1/2 of it and took the rest home for lunch the next day. The fries that came with the gyros were tasty and not greasy at all, which is always nice. My friend enjoyed her Rice Bowl and had no leftovers to take home. We both make our own hummus from scratch and we both agreed that this hummus was just as delicious as any we’ve made.The pitas were warm and tasty enough that she was willing to eat a couple in spite of her sensitivity. Prices were very reasonable as well, especially considering the food quality. I’ve eaten at other, more expensive, Mediterranean places that served lesser quality entrees. The only thing we’d change would be the chairs – they are not the most comfortable. But the food was worth it and we both agreed we’d be back, especially since they are located down the road from her apartment.

If you like Greek food, you’ll love Great Greek. I love the chicken skewers and their Tzatziki sauce is always fresh and on point. I ordered delivery this time, but usually eat there. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. The food is great, as the name says. 🙂

Was in the mood for Greek and saw it driving by. I turned around, and I’m glad I did! Come HUNGRY, the portions are definitely generous. I enjoyed the gyro lunch special. It was tasty, along with FRESHLY brewed tea. The highlight was the excellent service from the owners!!! Will absolutely come back.

OMG! This place is SO good! I got the great greek wrap, I’ve gotten gyro meat and lamb meat. Lamb is the best! I also got the small salad, and there was a lot of it even for it being small size. The feta fries were soooooo good, my favorite were the lemon potatoes though! THE SOUP WAS SOOOOOO GOOD too. Everything was just fantastic!! The staff was so kind as well! Overall great food, staff and location!!

Amazing food, incredible service, and the entire team at CityVet Roswell loves this place!! We all get lunch here frequently, the food is fresh and orders are ready on time. Fantastic food, presentation, and really flavourful…..The food is very tasty and the seasoning is spot on! We all loved the feta fries. Lots of garlic, cheese, and spices. The falafel with tzatziki sauce was definitely the highlight — perfectly seasoned and crispy outside, soft inside.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Roswell has truly delicious food—fresh, flavorful, and consistently well-made. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. Their hummas is the best out there. I recently ate at one of the competing greek places on Alpharetta Highway and the food at The Great Greek is SO much better.
The only negative is thatI usually get takeout because the inside has a bit of a cold, impersonal feel. A few warmer touches or some added personality in the décor would really enhance the dining experience and make the space as inviting as the food.
