Kitschy, colorful eatery with mesquite-grilled burgers & a bar for toppings, chips & salsa.

A hidden gem in Albuquerque! Unassuming location in a shopping plaza but once you’ve gone through the doors it’s a different world. Follow the stars to place your order. A family friendly environment and a broad selection. The pride of a family owned business is apparent in the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. We discovered that Wednesday is hand-cut ribeye special night and the steaks were great! Live music was another surprise. Highly recommended!

This is quite the unique place to go to, when we were there there was live music and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were hard at work and it was a busy night. The food tasted fantastic and will definitely be going back. The menu has options but can seem limited with it being a small menu. The owner and other staff members were walking around helping each ither and checking in on customers making sure everything was going good. The decorations in the restaurant are unique making it feel like a 60s to 90s restaurant. Food took a bit to be ready so maybe a quick bite to eat is not something that i would recommend at least not when its busy.

My friends and I tried this establishment last night for the first time. We had a mostly positive experience. I gave 4 stars because this business is overpriced and that is a negative. I paid over $30 for a decent steak, a tiny baked potato and water, that’s all you get with the meal. You can go to Longhorn, pay the same price and you get a huge potato, a premium salad and baked bread included with your meal. The staff are friendly, at night they have a live band that plays great traditional New Mexican music, their walls are full of unique collectibles, and their food tastes really good. If they would either go down on their prices or give people complete meals then the rating would go up.

Super friendly place! And clean. They specialize in burgers and offer a Garden Burger. Unlike many places, they cooked the Garden Burger just right so it wasn’t like dry cardboard. Instead it was moist, flavorful and served hot. The Grill has a self-serve selection of condiments: great looking leafy lettuce(not a brown spot to be found), two kinds of onions, pickles, tomatoes, peppers, relish and of course ketchup, mustard, mayo. They also have all-you-can eat chips and salsa.
For a vegan stuck somewhere waiting for a car repair, I lucked out! For a meat-eater, I’d say they would also be very happy too judging by how the food looked and by the people pouring in here since I arrived.

A Western style grill restaurant with freshly and nicely cooked patties for burgers, live music, and a really friendly and warm boss. Food is at a nice price. Recommended.

This Albuquerque spot may look simple from the outside, but inside it offers a warm and welcoming experience. The family owned charm, great hand cut ribeye special, and live music make it a standout. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Was in ABQ with a friend and we decided to get dinner. I looked up places close to us. We randomly chose this place and were very pleasantly surprised. We ended up getting the steak dinner. The owner Phil said they were voted 3rd best steak in ABQ. He was happy with that because 1st and 2nd place were both fine dining establishments. I personally have been very disappointed with $100 plus steaks, this 29.99 steak was far from disappointing. Cleaned my plate. Phil’s son, when he found out we had never been there before even took us in the back to show us the homemade grill they had made. It was pretty impressive. Great local spot. Family owned and operated. Def worth supporting. Even the other patrons were very welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic spot for a relaxed family outing. The restaurant offers plenty of space, making it ideal for groups, and even accommodates private party reservations. The food was excellent with generous portion sizes. A major bonus is the unlimited chips and salsa, along with a well-stocked toppings bar. It’s also fun to watch the grill in action through the open kitchen. We tried the Papa Burger, chicken tenders, and the sirloin steak. I was initially unsure about the steak given the price, but it exceeded expectations—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.

This has walk up counter service. There’s a huge blackboard with the menu, so it’s easy to read.
The menu is heavily weighted to burgers, steaks, and grilled chicken.
Once you place your order it takes about 10 minutes to get called up to claim your order. While waiting you can have complimentary chips and salsa. There’s also a condiment station with the standard burger fixings.
The decor has captured the feel of a 1950s roadside diner with lots of old toys, farm tools, pictures, and posters.

Stopped by last minute while passing through. Man at the register was super friendly and helpful. We both ended up with burgers. I had the vegi and she had the mamma. Excellent. There was a band playing this Saturday night and seemed to a regular thing. Lots of fun. Family oriented but there were some larger groups of men making good use of the steaks. Highly recommend. Looking forward to stopping again with my husband next time.
