My favorite restaurant in the Kentuckessee area. The jumbo tenders are huge, juicy and crispy. They have the perfect amount of breading without overwhelming the chicken. The baked beans have a bold spicy flavor and are the best baked beans around. We compare all other hot chicken places to JP’s and JP’s always comes out on top. The atmosphere is welcoming and the employees are so so nice and accommodating. If you aren’t a hot chicken fan, you can get them southern style which isn’t hot but still full of flavor.
If you live nearby, do yourself a favor and check them out. If you’re traveling down I24 it’s worth it to stop and try them. You won’t be disappointed!

We ordered the chicken sandwich combo and the 3 piece wing combo. Everything was delicious! We went with regular Hot and one extra Hot wing and boy was that spicy! I had to peal off the skin, I couldn’t do it. Regular hot was the perfect amount. The chicken sandwich was huge!
We were very happy with our meal, the only thing to mention, the potato salad contains egg and has a prominent dill and celery flavor. It didn’t bother me, I like my potato salad that way, however, I know not everyone does. .

Honestly, dont let its outside appearance fool you. It seems to have been remodeled and looks very nice inside. Very spacious and the music was not to loud when we came. The restaurant provides high chairs, however, the straps where unusable. We came around evening time and traffic was high. It is family friendly. Food came out fresh, crispy and hot. Would definitely recommend.

Rolled into JP’s Hot Chicken in Clarksville today and went straight for Extra Hot because I’m built different (allegedly). Crispy, juicy, perfect amount of fire—flavor so good I forgot my own name for a solid 30 seconds. Fries elite, sweet tea on standby.
True Heat still has me on its no-fly list from last time—I woke up speaking in flames—but Extra Hot is pure bliss without the exorcism. 10/10, already planning tomorrow’s lunch. Send help (and ranch).
