Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today. I wanted to get some dinner today, since yesterday I had planned to, but since I left my phone in my Lyft ride, I did not get the chance. Thank goodness though, I got my phone back. God is so so Good!!!!I I am going to Reel Cinemas in Narberth, PA to see the movie, “Hamnet.” I asked the employees of the Cinema, if there were some good spots around to eat. One of the young ladies suggested the pizza place across the street but alas, they had no places to sit. Then I saw a chinese restaurant I wanted to try, but the same thing, they had no tables and chairs for customers. These two were strictly take out spots. I walked past an interesting place when I made my way back to the cinema. But in walking before the movie, I crossed the street and I happened upon a restaurant. I saw someone go in first and I glanced at the entrance and it was an eatery. The name of the place was Arcadia Chia Tavern, but folks know it as The Greeks. So I went in and Ian, employee, seated me. Jake, my server, came over and gave me the menu. I decided on the turkey chili soup since I wanted soup and I asked Jake if it was spicy and it was. Next time I will trust my instinct and not get the spicy stuff. It was good though, just a little too spicy for my palate. Cheese came with it, but I opted for no cheese. Then I wanted an appetizer and I decided on charred brussels sprouts and then for my entree, poached salmon with rice. Jake brought me my dishes and everything proved to be good. I enjoyed everything very much . This dinner replaced what I missed last night. I decided to order nothing to drink. The turkey chili was $8.00, charred brussels sprouts was $11..00 and the poached salad was $19.00, credit card service fee is $1.17 and my total was $40.31. I paid by debit card and I gave Jake a $6.00 tip. I visited the ladies rest room and it was ok, just some paper in the toilet, so I did not use and I will use the rest room at the movie theater. It was a nice single room for the ladies, equipped with paper towels, soap and a soap dispenser. I enjoyed my visit here tonight. The people in the next booth asked me about my brussels sprouts and I said they were good. It is amazing that people listen to your conversation. They seemed nice and I gave them my business card and I asked them to follow me on social media. The young lady’s name was Allison and she said she was not on social media but she would look me up. I paid for my meal and then I asked for a box since I could not eat all of my food. Ian brought me two boxes for both the brussels sprouts and the poached salmon, one small and one a little larger and Ian brought me a nice size shopping bag to place them both in. Then I put on my coat and then I left and headed to the movie theater. Both Ian and Jake were pleasant and friendly. Also I spoke with Molly who checked on me from time to time. Molly who also worked there was quite nice and polite as well. We had an engaging conversation and I gave Molly, Ian and Jake my business card and I asked them all to follow me on social media. They all said they would. Have a good evening, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.

Fantastic concept. Buy individual cans at retail (not markup) prices & drink there.
Choose your selection, pay at the counter, & find a place. There is no table service for the beer side.
Large selection of styles…and they have a restaurant attached.
We only stayed on the beer side which was busy but not loud (easy to have a conversation).

Food is so hit or miss. The duck stew was super salty and gross, like from a can. The brisket sandwich was fine but super dry. The beer selection and fries are good.

Was in the area on a late midweek night, we hadn’t gotten dinner yet and found this gem. It’s technically a bar imo with decent sized tables. But who am I to complain since the food was tasty. The General Tso’s popcorn cauliflower appetizer was super crunchy and my wife who hates that vegetable actually loved this. So I’d call that a good surprise. The wings that we also shared were impressive. I thought it was just going to be wings tossed in a sauce but the General Tso’s Chicken flavor was pretty spot on. It had a tiny bit of heat but nothing I don’t think anyone couldn’t handle. I personally would have enjoyed it with a bit more heat, but that’s just me. We had such a good time talking and snacking by the time our orders were at our table we just dived into our main dishes. My Orzo veggie bowl was delicious and perfectly prepared, I actually skipped adding meat to it and was pleasantly surprised that it stood out on its own. Was told that the Ghandi burger was “soOoOO good!” They were considering the Impossible burger but said they would absolutely order this again. I didn’t get any response from my other mates because we stayed longer than usual on a weekday night. We all went our separate ways but I definitely have to say that the food was scrumptious. I do however feel like the staff, as friendly and helpful as they were had been sitting in the corner periodically staring at us which was kinda uncomfortable for some. And since they were there you’d think they’d stop by to refill drinks etc, nope. None of us had alcohol so we assumed that is why we didn’t get noticed. It was a huge deal but I’d definitely ask why they don’t have an employee breakroom or they didn’t just sit in a back booth. They just casually and continually stared at our direction and it was very awkward. However for sure don’t let that scare you off going here. It should be on your list of places. Considering right next door is a ‘Alcohol Bodega’ of sorts. I just kinda wish we had access to eat in there too (three TV’s were on in the restaurant). I imagine during the weekend’s this place is packed. On a side note they did have seating outside but we weren’t sure if you could sit there. They even have those tall heater’s next to the tables with a plastic wall for the wind and sun. We plan on coming here again for sure. Maybe sneak peek on mother’s day since my wife enjoyed it so much. As my mom would say: τρώω (tróo), ολοκληρώνω (olokliróno)

Absolutely love this quirky little gem! The food hits the spot, and the beer selection? Top-notch. The servers are genuinely some of the nicest folks you’ll meet—though the service itself has a charmingly chaotic flair. Oddly enough, you won’t mind. It’s part of the charm, and everyone’s in on the joke—sharing laughs over the “5-star” service that’s really more of a lovable 3.
Do yourself a favor: tip your servers (they’ve earned it), strike up a conversation with the person next to you, and soak in the cozy, come-as-you-are vibe of this awesome neighborhood pub. It’s community at its best.

The food here has some excellent options with daily/weekly specials that are not your average bar food. It’s an older place so if you’re looking for a shiny place to have dinner, this is not it. You have to admire the regular local patrons and the wonderful people that work there.

Quiet , with a great selection of beers and hard ciders (thanks to Greeks Next Door)! I love the Full Rack of Ribs for dinner – with enough to share! The fries that come with them are some of the best around! UPDATE: I changed my rating from 6 months ago because I went there with my family tonight and got the full rack of ribs again. But this time, I got a piece of plastic included as a topper of the Cole Slaw portion of my meal. I pointed it out and they apologized and replaced the Cole slaw. In my opinion, the meal should have been replaced and I should not have been charged. I did not pay $19 to get a plastic pull ring from some sort of jug in my meal!

Since we are in Yellow Phase with the Covid -19 now, I brought my daughter there to dine outside. They opened at 2PM. The menu is shorter than when they had indoor dining.
She had wanted quesadilla but that’s off the menu. Instead she ordered Half rack of BBQ ribs with mashed potatoes. She decided to for go the slaw. It came out to the table like we were getting it to go. As it turned out, her mashed potatoes had been switched to subpar French Fríes. Their special BBQ sauce was replaced with McDonalds quality BBQ sauce. I ordered the Mac and cheese and turkey chili. It came out all mixed together in a pint container. Extremely un appetizing in appearance. No, I did not eat it, nor did we stay to dine.
Here are pictures of today’s disaster.
Can I give them NO STARS???

Love my local. The food is always good, as is the service. The beer selection is the best around and they change it up regularly. They’ve introduced me to a lot of new favorites.

Food was good, nice old school local pub atmosphere but unapologetically terrible service (understaffed kitchen, indifferent/defensive servers and absence of management/oversight). I doubt this review will move the needle as it is a local institution and the locals either accept bad service or are treated better than the new faces coming in. Won’t be back.
