Fantastic service took the family there after a basketball game and the food and service was some of the best we have had. Thank you and highly recommend. The decor was awesome it felt like we were out of town on a get away. Restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were very clean and smelled good.

My son and I visited Adelita’s for dinner this evening (Our first time eating here). He was craving a quesadilla & I love an authentic fajitas burrito with cheese sauce. Upon arriving, the place was conveniently located, beautiful inside and out. The staff were very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. We were seated right away. The menu had a variety of options at a very reasonable price. The amount of food you get is a generous portion. I will be returning and letting everyone I know about my new favorite mexican restaurant with authentic delicious food, full of flavor, and their tasty drinks.
* took the photo after I had eaten half the burrito fajita (sorry it smelled amazing & I forgot to get a photo before scarfing down half of it)

Really delicious meal. The queso wasn’t anything special, but the quesabirria and Mexican street corn were both so good. The coconut margs were unique…at least for me, and really delicious.

I absolutely love this place! It is beautifully decorated, clean, the sound system was fantastic and food was amazing. We had Trinity as our waitress. She was very attentive and had a great personality. I love trying new things when I go to a new restaurant and she obliged to pick out my meal for me which was soooo good. This place was a great experience! I definitely recommend.

Great vibes of reggaeton and Urbana Latina. Booths were very attractive and comfy. The food is presented beautifully. Very mild house salsa. Blue margarita is very tasty. My stomach did not agree with the food, unfortunately.

I have been here at least 20 times since and if I could give them 10 stars – I would. I have been to nearly ALL Mexican restaurants within 20 miles. Adelita’s is by far my favorite. The food is always fresh and delicious. The place is clean. Service is great. Everyone is friendly and the margaritas are fantastic. If I had to pick only one Mexican restaurant to go to, anywhere in the St Louis area, Adelita’s is it!

1) Service is excellent. Everyone is quick and attentive.
2) The food is pretty good. Things could be spicier, but it’s good.
3) The salsa is bland, watery, and has an odd aftertaste.
4) The drinks are truly awful. Their “margarita” uses a prepackaged “margarita” mix from a large jug reminiscent of industrial solvents. You can quite literally taste the corn syrup in their “margarita.” Margaritas are not supposed to be yellow. If you have never had a real margarita before, then it’s tolerable, but when you know how they’re supposed to taste, it’s genuinely repulsive.
4.a) No additive-free tequila is available, only high profile celebrity-endorsed brands.
5) Prices are too high. $15+ for three tiny street tacos is not worth it, although the tacos themselves were quite good. Charging $10+ for tequila and corn syrup with citric acid is highway robbery.

Overall, this is definitely one of the Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. I don’t regret coming necessarily—the food, ambience, and service were all great—but this is not a place I’d ever see myself returning to.

Ordered the spicy steak street tacos off Uber Eats. AMAZING flavor! I was hoping they would be a little more spicy but seriously such good food and portions. They piled the tacos with meat, good portion of rice and beans and they threw in chips with a lot of sauce. Hands down my new favorite restaurant

Short: Food was great. Service in regards to attention was great. (Had some issues with our server and the bill.) Atmosphere was a little loud but enjoyable.

Long: Food was great. Highly recommend trying the street corn.

Service & Atmosphere – We were seated without menus, given chips, salsa, our drink order was taken and our chips refilled (We didn’t really need the extra basket of chips but it was nice.) Our server came to take our order and we had yet to see a menu.

Once we were ready, she had some trouble knowing what dishes got a side and what the side options were. My husband wanted rice and beans and she argued that he couldn’t have both until we showed her on the menu that the side was “rice and beans”.

So far this could all be attributed to it being a new restaurant. However, the next issue occurred with our check.

Our check with all food and drinks added up to around $56. The check we were given was for $72. When we asked, we were told it was because of tax. That’s about $16 in tax. Which is upwards of about 25%. Our server was never able to give an explanation, just that they hit the tax button and that’s the total.

Our best guess is that it’s tax AND tip. If that’s the case, it was not posted somewhere that we could see and our server seemed unaware of it as she kept apologizing and telling us we didn’t need to leave her a tip because she couldn’t explain the price difference.

I can’t decide if we will come back. I’m interested in knowing if anyone else has had the same issue with their check.

Our first experience here was great. The first couple margaritas were really good but the last one was a little sour. We really enjoyed the chips and salsa. The chicken tacos were very good as well as the flautas. We sat at the bar and the service was pretty decent. Our only complaint I would say was the food took a little long, but we didn’t mind that much because it was really good.
And for management…, there was windex sitting on the bar at the end, probably should have that put away.
