Last night I went to a place that has been on my list for quite a while. I went to Pizzeria Di Maria in Carol Stream. It’s a takeout and delivery place. They have a small ledge in the lobby and I ate there because the pizza wouldn’t have been good after traveling all the way home. This place uses a CUTLER rotating deck oven that has 7 decks. While my pizza was cooking I chatted with the owner Dean. He is a very nice guy and tries really hard to give his customers the best product. He uses GRANDE cheese and makes his own sausage in house. I went with the 14″ sausage pizza. Very crispy and firm crust with a light dusting of cornmeal and cooked perfectly in that CUTLER oven. The sauce had some oregano and a very fresh tomato taste. The GRANDE cheese is the best and it’s silky smooth with a great flavor. Dean’s homemade sausage didn’t disappoint. The sausage was very juicy and had a good amount of fennel. All of the ingredients just went together perfectly and you could almost taste the freshness of the ingredients. This was a damn good pizza and I highly recommend this place. ✨

We have ordered for the last few years here. Family parties, birthdays, and just for the pizza. We have never had an issue with the food. Always great. But the young lady working today wasn’t exactly the friendliest. She just handed us our food and said here you go. No thank you, nothing. Customer service goes a long way now days especially when you are spending a pretty penny. Thank you or have a nice day instead of a dead stare would be nice

Happened to be near Pizzeria Di Maria this evening & the wonderful aroma made my daughter & myself get a slice of pepperoni pizza for $4. It was a huge slice with a generous amount of pepperoni slices covering the entire slice. I wasn’t going to have dinner until I saw & smelled the pizza. My daughter & I split the slice & it is as delicious as it looked. The man at the register who may have been the owner was friendly & came back with a hot & fresh slice of pizza within 5 minutes of ordering. Will have to come back again!

This is a small nondescript pizzeria that one might find in a college town or unincorporated area that has little else to offer.
My lowest level for pizza is frozen Tombstone pizza. Anything worse than that, like Little Caesar’s, gets lower than three stars. But what that also means is unless I’m in a pinch I ask myself would I buy your pizza or would I just go buy a Tombstone Pizza?
Unfortunately I would probably spend less money and get a Tombstone pepperoni pizza than spend more on their pepperoni pizza. The service was friendly though and like I said in a pinch I would go there but only if it was in the neighborhood or during a pandemic when I want to avoid grocery stores

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked dough and melted cheese hits you in the best way possible. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is always quick—even during busy hours.
Now the pizza… absolutely amazing. The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the flavor combinations are spot on. Whether you’re into classic pepperoni or something more adventurous like pesto and goat cheese, they’ve got something for everyone.
I also love that they offer a build-your-own option, so you can customize it just how you like it. And don’t skip the garlic knots—they’re warm, buttery, and addictive.
This has officially become my go-to pizza spot. Highly recommend!

This is an updated review. The picture posted belongs to my 5 star review. I Had a 5 star posted. I usually order here often and pizza is very consistent. Always taste the same. Cooked perfectly and hot and ready. This last time I requested well done as I usually do and they served me an under cooked pizza ! 1 of 2 pizza was undercooked. Cheese was barely cooked in the middle. Must have been a bad night bc I could tell this pizza was rushed out. I ordered an extra large and didn’t really eat it. They usually are great as you can see from other reviews. Pizza was not cooked to my request.
