The Grange is an intimate farm-to-table restaurant. Yes, we actually have a farm with organically grown produce! The menu, displayed on a chalkboard, changes with what is available seasonally. We have a great local source for grass-fed beef and we serve wild-caught fish and seafood. Gourmet salads and local cheeses are a favorite as well. Reservations are strongly suggested. The last seating is at 8:00 PM.

The best meal I’ve had this year. The combinations of flavors were surprising and delicious and food presentation was top notch. The food is all farm to table, with much coming from a farm in the family. You can also buy sheep skins from the farm at this location.

Very intimate. Delicious, original. Had the prix fixe menu. We had the spinach strudel, cauliflower soup, braised lamb, gourmet burger, creme brulee x 2. Friendly, attentive staff. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend. Reservations are necessary.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! Service was amazing, food was so fresh, and I love the whole vibe/ decor. Must try the Creme brûlée and the burger!

It was such a lovely and unique experience to have dinner at The Grange while up from the city. The food was spectacular, really some of the best I’ve ever had. The women who served us were lovely and personable (one explained that her sister in law grows many of the vegetables we ate in our dishes), and the atmosphere was cozy, homey, and funky. I hope I can go back soon!

Place was delicious, looking forward to the course tasting menu next time there. Every dish we ordered was very good, starting with the bread. Always call ahead and make reservations, small place that gets packed quick on most days I’d say from how good the food was. I also enjoyed the music list they had playing.

Nice atmosphere. Oysters were OK but the didn’t expect the sauces to come on the oysters which held back the oyster flavors. Smoked fish was good but very salty. The horseradish sauce was delicious. NY strip steak dish was nice served on a bed of mash potatoes. Cab needs to be upgraded to go with the food. The scallop and halibut dishes looked great but alas, next time.

I’ve heard so many good things about this place, I was happy that there was room for us last minute today. As a professional chef who has worked in the food industry for many years, I was pleased with the menu selection, presentation and balance of flavor. The oysters were great, the flavors in the NY steak and Brussel appetizer were spectacular and I appreciate that they plated our split entree. The flourless chocolate cake was heavenly. I give it four stars as it was cold in the dining room, the plates did not feel heated so the soup and entree quickly cooled off. I was told by the host they were pulled from the oven but I touched the plate immediately by habit when served, as heated plates is a basic when cooking professionally and sadly they were barely warm. The old house charm may contribute to the draftiness so it should be compensated by serving the food HOT. They forgot to leave off the croutons for my friend with a Gluten-free request and as she had to wait for a spoon to take out the croutons, it had more time to cool off. Though the server was kind, he didn’t check back after each course, so we couldn’t ask for a hot one. I will still give it another chance because everything was cooked perfectly, just wished the food were hot.

What a magnificent little place this is! They make it look so easy; running a restaurant such as this one is anything but. Seems that all the local hostilities have ceased allowing this spot to continue flourishing. Thank goodness.
