On a business trip, I came here for dinner or alone after receiving a strong recommendation from a very good friend.

Phenomenal service and server, ask for Erica! She went astronomical with making us feel like we belonged, almost like seeing an old friend! Very adamant on helping with the menu, questions we had, what we did and didn’t like about the food. Overall a delight to be in her presence because service is everything, I will go back just to see her! Other staff was very attentive, setting was calming, dimly lit. Appetizers were fantastic, very nicely put together, the tidbits and tostadas were my favorite! I recommend this place, it’s a new favorite!

Ate here for date night and had a great experience! Food was phenomenal and our server Katie took great care of us! In fact, it was so good I only got a picture of the desert!

Food was really good however service was incredibly slow. It was close to an hour before we got our food. When we received it, the plates were hot, the meal was lukewarm…which tells me that it has been sitting for a minute. It was a business dinner and it wasn’t a great experience since everyone was hungry and was looking forward to the dinner. The lamb was really good as well as the shrimp pasta. The harissa chicken had something to be desired as the meat was rather dry.

Mother in law 91 orders Gyros for Eighteen Dollars. So big and slathered in tzatziki sauce she could barely bite into it, first bite produced a dime sized piece of lobster tail. Waitress was informed and shown the shell fragment, mother in law questioned protocol and was reassured this never happens. she proceeded to take a bite from the other end of the burrito shaped entree and proceeded to find two additional broken pieces of lobster tail. She was comped her meal, not her cocktail $12. And served a salad she did not like or eat. The manager blew it and was more concerned trying to get Elaine to take her unwanted salad home with than address the fact dinner was ruined for the three of us and the entire meal should have been free of charge with a sincere apology

Sadly, one of the worst fine dining experiences ever last night! The evening started well, with prompt service and excellent appetizers. It was all down hill from there. Four at our table, two ordered lamb, and two ordered pasta dishes. It took an excessive amount of time for our food to come out. The lamb dishes were cold, and despite being ordered medium rare, both were beyond well done. I have had dried beef jerky with more moisture left than the lamb we were served. The waitress was very apologetic and the manager even came out, which was appreciated. We decided not to take a chance on more lamb and instead we both ordered sirloin steaks. You would think the kitchen would have expedited our replacement meals, but again, an excessive wait. My steak was much closer to raw than medium rare, and the other steak was past medium. The manager offered to replace both of our streaks, but sorry, two strikes is an out with that bad of food. They did take some off the price of the meal, and comped a desert, but to be honest, they probably should have done more given two of us received two bad meals. The manager and server were wonderful, and the pastes dishes were excellent, but who ever was working meat that night needs to be completely retrained or fired (it really was that bad).

I’ve been in and out of the Granary for over 30 years. It has changed and rolled with the punches. I’ve taken many dates for dinner on its wonderful deck. I was very excited to visit after I heard it had new owners and had remodeled. I’m sorry to say that after visiting tonight I will never go back. It starts with a weak clipboard menu and ends with food that just isn’t good. The server was wonderful and tried to sell their weak menu and specials. And how about over priced? I ordered one extra crab leg and it cost $66.00 extra on my bill! $66.00!! But I paid my tab and walked away a little sad because I knew this place when it was great. Save your money. This place sucks.
