GOLDEN GOAT IS THE VIBE. I just wanted to say thank you to Kelsey and Cody – this establishment is the number #1 bar in old town. They are by far the cleanest, most friendly, with great prices, events, and drink specials. The bartenders are beautiful, and the guys tenders are handsome. If you wanna have a fantastic time that’s warm & welcoming – come to TGG where the staff & the owners go above and beyond to get to know who they regulars are -that’s why they -stand -out-! The golden goat is the best times and space for entrainment in Slidell. They also have a food truck that sits in the back patio of the bar that amazing SMASH BURGERS. The golden goat has riding BULLS, jumbo Jenga, pool tables, juke box,DJs, arcade punching bag,a projector and more. THERE IS NEVER A DULL MOMENT AT TGG. It’s a perfect place to bring a date, have a girls night, or even boys night. The golden goats atmosphere is different than all of old town’s bars- bring your family and friends here if you’d like to have a nice time n name memories.

My only complaint with this bar is that the beer on the tap is always skunked. I’ve complained about this before to one of the bartenders, but I’ve been there twice since and it’s still the same problem. Even when I try a different beer, that one is also skunked. So it’s definitely something they’re doing.
Otherwise the vibe is very nice and they started playing better music. Tired of hearing 2000s rap, there’s a lot more music out there.
