Such a cute coffee/cafe/bar! We just moved to the area and were starving after moving all day, and came in 30 minutes before closing. They were super accommodating and kind to still serve us food. Crepe was excellent and so was my husband’s roast beef sandwich. Loved the beer and wine selection too! Can’t wait to make this a regular stop during our week 🙂

I love this place! Every food and coffee option that I’ve tried so far has been excellent. Get the quiche if they have it that day. It’s amazing and homemade! Additionally, we hosted a wedding shower here and it could not haven been more perfect! Guest raved about the food and the atmosphere! So happy that we choose Gilded Pear as the location and caterers for the shower! We would definitely host another event here!

Wonderful everything! The atmosphere was casual and down to earth! I would definitely go here again! I ordered the French toast ham and turkey gruyere sandwich while my other member ordered bubble waffles with chicken tenders. Very nice! Felt relaxing and seemed like the perfect way to start or end your day.

Delicious and reasonably priced food. The crepes are very nice and stuffed inside so you get a lot of food. The coffee is tasty. Lots of seating, cute decor, friendly staff. We really like coming here occasionally and having some brunch

My daughter and I came upon this place a few weeks back and we love it! It’s become our regular Saturday morning place! Especially love the Chicken and waffles and the English Muffins. Great staff and cozy environment. I am telling everyone I can. Recently tried the Roast beef sub and the Chicken flatbread. Amazing!

Local owned and located in historical downtown Smithfield. The ambience of the original shop is lovingly preserved at this cafe. The owner and staff are always welcoming, helpful, and fast. They offer a full coffee bar with fresh baked goods, light meals, and sandwiches. Shop local and visit here instead of that mermaid coffee chain.

Quaint old storefront with rustic interior. Excellent drinks, food and very friendly staff. The bacon, egg and bacon jam English muffin was excellent, as were the crepes and sandwiches. There are a couple of small tables on the sidewalk and a handful of tables inside. More of a cafe.

I love the space and the atmosphere. It’s definitely a place I could see myself taking my laptop to work and just enjoying the coffee and decor. The coffee was delicious, and I love the lavender syrup for the latte. The lattes weren’t too sweet, either, like other cafes I’ve been too recently, so definitely 10/10.
