The Gathering Place is the perfect spot for a meal in downtown Colwich. We ordered the Midwest Benny, the Farmhouse Avocado Toast, and the Cardinal Plate along with bottomless, locally roasted coffee and were delighted with the fresh ingredients and menu options. This morning we took a refreshing walk with our 9 1/4 top to The Gathering Space. Walking in, there were humbling blissful vibes & welcoming good mornings & smiling faces. Atmosphere was calming & peaceful full of creativity & many variations of art. Customer care was top notch & very friendly. Food & drinks were amazingly awesome & decently priced with good size portions: (food highlight: Biscuits & Gravy with Fried Potatoes & OE Eggs, Strawberry Cheesecake Full Stack, MidWest Benny)(drink highlight: Iced Dirty Chai Latte w/ Hazelnut & Iced White Chocolate Mocha), will totally be back on a weekend for Eggs Benedict! The kiddos as well enjoyed hanging out, writing on the chalkboard, and picking out some fun trinkets from the gift shop!

This place is the sweetest hidden gem and SO worth the trip!! It’s like “hip” and “hometown” got married. Relaxed and homey atmosphere with a fresh cool vibe. On the menu they have Cinnamonroll French Toast… Homemade Pop Tarts… BEIGNET PANCAKES are you kidding me?? Pro-tip… get there early before the amazing baked goods sell out!!

The Gathering Space is such an amazing addition to the Colwich community. The food and drinks are delicious (I especially like trying their seasonal options for new coffee drinks), the atmosphere is inviting, the workers are always very friendly and the whole business is so supportive of other local small business.
