Welcome to The Garage! We are conveniently located in historic downtown Albany, Oregon. Enjoy our automotive / garage style atmosphere and our private outdoor seating area. With 54 rotating taps, you are destined to find a favorite or discover a new! In addition to a great selection of brewery fresh craft beer, you will also discover we have a selection of cider, kombucha tea, wine, and soda. We now offer cocktails too! While our primary focus is on Pacific Northwest selections, we will not pass on an occasional opportunity to bring you something exciting from one of those other states… Spend time with friends, and meet new ones as well. Come in to watch sporting events in high definition on our four large screen TVs.

The Garage’s bar staff is some of the best and friendliest people around! They have a pretty nice tap list at all times, and they keep things running smooth and fast. I have only had food a few times at the garage, and it could use some work. It’s not great, and for the price you pay, it could be a bit better. The garage also has a ton of fun events every week they like trivia and comedy shows. HOWEVER, they comedy shows are “donation” funded, and they stress this, and a common minimum donation I have seen is 20$. Every time I come, it sounds like they scald the crowd for not donating. I wish they would just have a door price because the donation speech is uncomfortable to listen to every time.

Last night was the first and last time I visited your establishment. My group and I were disappointed to learn that after ordering drinks (after standing in line 20 minutes, we weren’t allowed to leave the premises. I think it’s reasonable to expect that a bar that is offering drinks at the Albany Block Party would have a special license to allow people to go around the block! Not being able to take drinks to the stage area and only offering their patio, which has no view and also loud noise from generators where you can’t even hear the concert, is deceiving.

We love this place for a casual evening or Thursday night comedy. Big beer and cider selection, also a full bar now. Food is decent pub fare. Staff is great.

Whether you’re going for Taco Tuesday or $4 flights on Sunday, the garage will not disappoint. They have a freindly atmosphere, a huge selection, and good prices. Every night has a different theme or special. Stop in and check them out. Don’t forget to bring your growler!

I may give it another shot, but my first experience was pretty bad. Walked in, lady working seemed irritated. Handed me a dirty, wrinkly, paper menu. Didn’t seem like she was trying to take my order so I approached her, tried to order and was told the oven was broken so… I left.

New owners in the last couple of years. They have turned this place around! Fantastic beer selection. Fun trivia on Mondays. Owners are extremely friendly and customer focused. I try never to miss thirsty Thursday. Always a couple $3.00 pints available on Thursday. This is a regular meeting place for friends and family.
