Improvised experience in grabbing a quick Sunday brunch, after the nearby antique store visit. We were welcomed warmly despite at the closing hours, and heart felt hospitality, of course delicious soup du jour, steak and eggs and loaded fries. Delicious coffee from the neighbor shop!

The Foxhole is a quaint, non-assuming joint with a comfortable feel. The food was fresh and flavorful. Not your normal bar food. Ella, our server was friendly and attentive. There was live music with a positive vibe by Posistevity! It was a very pleasant evening. We will return again soon.

We’re so happy to have this place right around the corner from us! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. Steaks are cooked to absolute perfection! We’ll have a hard time going and not getting the clams and chorizo. SO GOOD. It’s a good thing it comes with bread to get the amazing juice, otherwise I’d be tipping the bowl back! Can’t wait to go back again.

Went for dinner with another couple on a freakishly cold friday. Its cozy and staff are really accommodating, including the owner who dropped by a few times to chat and see how our meals were. Good drinks and we hear a great wine list is coming….

Our overall experience was great! Lee, bartender, took great care of us as did the host/owner (unfortunately I don’t have a name) by getting us seated quickly. This was our first time there, so we typically just do apps, as was this visit, our food was amazingly wonderful!! This weekend was their roll out of a new menu. Wow did it look great!! The food we saw being served looked very good and so very fresh. We had scallops app, they tasted like they just came off a boat, perhaps they did! The crab and shrimp ceviche was perfect!!! We will be back. Love the Foxhole!!

What a great evening discovering this restaurant. Very quaint dining with friendly staff. We went to celebrate my birthday and we were delighted with the evening. I had beets and goat cheese salad to start and scallops and risotto for my entree. The drinks were creative and went down easily and the dessert was like an art deco presentation. Scrumptious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for a dining experience.

A wonderful hidden gem in Delaware! We are visiting for the week and staying in Rehoboth (like every other tourist) and we have friends nearby that we hadn’t seen in years so we decided to meet in Milton (in between our locations). We settled on The Foxhole purely based on name and we loved it. They have the FRIENDLIEST staff I’ve ever come across and our waitress especially was so fun. I cannot remember her name but she had a beautiful accent and a wonderful personality. She described every entree and helped us all pick the best dish for us. She was spot on with every choice. The portions were perfect, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and warm. We were treated to live music at 5:30 or 6:00 on a WEDNESDAY night! The musicians were very talented and played at just the right volume and just the right vibe. Whether you want to stop in for a drink at their beautiful little bar or have a formal meal with your family and friends, this place will be a great choice. I hope I make it back down to Delaware sometime soon so that I can make a trip back to The Foxhole. I never write reviews, but felt I needed to as a small token of appreciation for the restaurant and their staff. You all seriously impressed my family and I, and we cannot thank you enough!

Went to the Foxhole in Milton last night for my husbands 60th Birthday Everything was absolutely fabulous The food was amazing started with Tempura Vegetables cooked perfect my husband had scallops and pork belly I had chicken Milanese both dishes could not have been better!! The atmosphere was super friendly the service terrific and the owner stopped by to chat with us such a great lady even referred me to a good hairstylist which I’ve been searching for here in DE. The live music was just what we’ve been looking for, Al Frantic even wished my husband a happy Birthday and his playlist was right up our alley We will be going back real soon

We were looking forward to a new dining experience before going to an event at Milton Theater. Unfortunately, the three of us were disappointed. The menu is very limited and we thought expensive for what we got. No bread was offered with our wine. More importantly, three of the four items were rather bland and uninteresting. Given the overall high Google review ratings we were surprised, and that rarely happens.
