My husband took me here for Valentines Day. First time. We went a little early to beat the croud and it wad still busy. Even still our service was great and so was the food. Grooper is fantastic. So is the chicken. We also tried the crab stuffed mushrooms and onion rings. Both also good.

Got the sampler platter. Very greasy food. Server didn’t even know what fish was what when we asked. Got the frys. Wasn’t crispy at all, very soggy. Was also told the mushrooms were hand-breaded!!! Straight from the box!! Nasty food. Will not come back to this place. Save your money!!

Our server, Maya, was awesome! Friendly and fast service, even though the place was busy.
I got the chicken de luca, which was good, although the chicken was a bit overcooked. The green beans were especially good.

Very good food! Large portions. Server was nice! Although the potatoes tasted a bit like instant, the taste of the country fried steak and gravy definitely evened it out! Their clam chowder was soo good.. and the side salad that came with was a good side as well! This is their Monday special. (Not including soup) we will definitely be back!

They charged us $3 more per steak than what was posted on the menu. Waitress said it was posted on the door. I attached photos of posting on the door. There is no mention of price increase vs stated menu prices.
They grilled the prime rib, no baked potato which we ordered, but waitress came back 20 min later to tell us this.

Wife and I have been here many times and loved it. BUT Valentine’s Day 2026 might be our last. We arrived at 4:15 and were promptly seated next to five other tables full of people sitting in the bar area. None of these tables had drinks or been spoken to. We waited over 30 minutes just to get a glass of water. Valentine’s Day is consistently one of the top five busiest and highest-grossing days for U.S. restaurants, typically ranking as the second most popular night for dining out…so being unprepared is absolutely unforgivable. Period. It took us over two hours to get out of here, most of which was just waiting on a server to show up at the table. Side note, we’ve always shared a New York strip, always, and it’s always been great, except this time it wasn’t. It was bone in, and it’s never been in the past. The steak wasn’t the same. The service wasn’t the same. I used to love this place.

On a Wednesday at noon, first time visiting here. The inside of the building is very cool! Lots of native lumber. They have a round bar that is pretty cool too. As far as food, I had the hot pepper cheese bites. They were decent. I thought the breading was a little thick but maybe that was to hold the cheese better. I also had the jumbo breaded tenderloin and that is massive! Seasoned good, and a thick tenderloin. I could only eat half of it. Definitely a top 3 tenderloin in my opinion that I’ve had in the state. The French fries were good too. Shaped like potato chips but soft like fries should be. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

What a great place to eat along the trail .
It has a nice outdoor patio area . Our waitress was excellent . The food was great . We had a huge breaded tenderloin my husband and I shared along with chicken nachos that could have easily been shared with another person . They also bring out delicious fresh baked rolls. This will definitely be a routine stop when we’re in Kokomo.

This place is really cool. However there were something’s that were not. 1st it feels like you are sardine in a can. There are too many tables for the space that is available. 2nd the Mac n cheese was 100% stouffers that you just reheat. Which is disappointing. But the honey chicken that came with it was some of the best chicken I’ve had. 3rd I feel that the service was hit or miss. I think our server could have come around a little more frequently. My partner got the tenderloin and did enjoy it.
