Food & service was so exceptional, we came back for a 2nd night in a row! Husband got sushi, I got chicken teriyaki wok. Both were excellent. We also got the Wagyu gyoza and chicken gyoza – incredible. Dylan was our waiter the first night, and Julian on night 2. Both were great. Can’t say enough great things. Atmosphere is also 10/10.

The menu has a wide range of options and everything we tried was beautifully presented and delicious.
Our waiter was also THE most joyful person which made our visit even more special.

Excellent Asian Fusion Restaurant with ample seating space inside and outdoors. Enjoy the view of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak or watch the boats in the harbour. The staff is friendly. The sushi is wonderful, and some of the Asian dishes are very nice. I can recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Tang, Cape Town! The food was exceptional from start to finish, the veggie dumplings and spinach & cream cheese dim sum were perfectly crafted, flavorful, and fresh. The coconut rice was creamy and aromatic, the kind of dish you can’t stop eating!
The outdoor waterfront atmosphere made it even better, chic, relaxing, and ideal for good conversation with a beautiful view. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and every plate was beautifully presented.

Tang Restaurant is honestly the definition of luxury. The atmosphere and aesthetic are absolutely stunning, and the service is just as impressive. The food tasted incredible, everything was on point. The only thing I noticed was that the sushi with the peanut crumb and drizzle had a bit of an aftertaste, but besides that, the dishes were perfect. The steak was cooked exactly right, and every detail felt intentional and refined. Overall, an exceptional experience. Thank you for watching!

While I was visiting Cape Town last year, I met up with a friend for dinner at Tang. We were looking forward to dining here as the views are exquisite. It was really busy but they managed to get us a table without a booking. We ordered a few dishes, but the standout was the rib eye, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We really enjoyed all our dishes and the staff were professional and super friendly.
