The food definitely hits the spot late at night especially on weekend serving until 2am is a major plus. Still a great assorted menu despite the hour. Lots around us having a great time playing the pool tables and a great interactive Bar team made this 2nd visit another solid visit!

I want to point out a few things that could take the joint from being a 3 star to a 5 star.
1.) music is big for pool with me. Depending on where you are in the joint, you can’t even hear the damn music. I asked staff to turn it up and they said it was maxed. If you can hear 10-20 other people’s around you conversations, it isn’t loud enough. The speaker system needs updated and should be prioritized over people talking. Talk louder. Also the the box is completely locked down as for as artists. I was also told by staff after midnight the box is turned off due to fight reasons..? If you have that problem in your bar, you need better security. Most people in there get out of my way and I’m just walking. If your security doesn’t have that kind of presence that’s a problem. Music shouldn’t be taken away because you can’t control patrons? If that continues to be a problem, make a simple dress code. Nice shirt, no hats, etc. that will help keep the slime out.
2.) a pool hall shouldn’t be “rent the balls.” People can have a table for 4-5 hours and hardly play. When tables are quarter based you can take people’s tables by winning, encouraging others who may not even play often to step up and take the challenge. Also keeps patrons engaged and moving around and not sitting in one area the entire night.
3.) the crowd for sure changes after midnight. All the slime comes in. If your bouncers have to joke as I come in the door about “let’s see what kind of night we’ll have”, that’s not very comforting. If they expect drama, your joint needs to be adjusted accordingly. Everyone before midnight seemed to be there just to have a good time, your after midnight crew is more so there to see who they can irritate and stir up drama with.
I’ve tried to like the joint and only show up because that’s where my friends want to go when I visit, but if I prefer my hole in the wall country bars over a place that has that amount of room and tables, you guys really need to maybe think about someone who actually cares about bars not just your local drunks and college crowd kids. Pay attention to the reviews and feedback from the people spending 100+ to be there

Gypsy Road
I came here for Fox Fest 2024. It’s a great venue for live music! The bartenders are very friendly and efficient. The restroom was clean and smelled good. I didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on quality. Plenty of parking. There are several pool tables. I used to come here occasionally when it was Diamonds.

First time coming here, 4.14.24. Got in late just to play some pool and have a few drinks. They had some live music going as we walked in, sounded good. There were plenty of tables to play on, they charge by the hour which is nice. Drinks were cheap and the bar tenders were friendly! Didn’t have any food, but it looked good. The crowd was pretty good, and all good natured folks. I’ll be looking to come back soon

Pretty decent place. It could use some fine tuning in many aspects, but it provides you with you necessary food, drinks, and entertainment. I would not say it is upscale at all, the terrible restrooms definitely needs remodeling.

Place is beautiful!! All new. It has a very extensive and eclectic menu. The bar staff was very nice and the drinks were exceptional. Great happy hour late night on Sundays. They are getting more live music in every day.

I visited to check out the musical performances. The patio was pretty packed for that. I was worried that I would never be able to order food. But as the place cleared out when the concert ended, I discovered the inside — pool tables, lots of tables to sit and chill, plenty of room to stand and meet people. The bartenders were active and attentive. I was only standing there for 30 seconds tops before a bartender noticed me and took my order. The club sandwich I ordered was perfect. Usually bar food is secondary to everything else, but I loved my meal so much that I thought about it the next morning and decided to leave this lengthy positive review of my experience.

Super nice bar keep, clean well maintained pool tables and decent food. Made for a great Friday afternoon. The scented candles spread around were a nice touch.
