I came in with high expectations based on the reviews, but my experience was mixed. The atmosphere was excellent and easily the highlight of the evening.
The festive menu, however, didn’t resonate with most of our group. I wasn’t impressed with the starters, and the dessert lacked depth of flavor. The crumble topping was bland with no sweetness, and the fruit itself was quite tart.
Service was acceptable overall, but we did feel rushed through our meal due to the restaurant closing shortly after our reservation time. I would suggest avoiding bookings too close to closing if guests are expected to dine at a relaxed pace.

First time customers and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Service speed was perfect (not too fast, not too slow), prices reasonable and food delicious. The best vegetarian burger I’ve ever had! The pub was dog friendly as well as clean and beautifully decorated for the festive season. Even the bathroom was fresh and clean. Staff were a delight and we have found a new local.

We came today for Lunch as a Family (2) living in Cheltenham and the rest of us (6) from West Sussex. We chose this pub as in-between for us all. The Staff were all very friendly and incredibly attentive the Food was exceptional, all arrived at the same time and very generous portions. Thank you all for making our Day. We are planning to come back in the Summer to make use of the Garden. Highly recommend visiting.

Family/friends Sunday lunch and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. Couple of roasts, couple of burgers and couple of halloumi burgers plus puddings. All very happy. Will definitely come again. Nice atmosphere and easy to park.

Great lunch spot, the staff were super helpful and friendly,the food was fantastic such great options,they also had options for vegans and gluten free too. The venue itself was gorgeous and was dog friendly! Highly recommend you visit, I would definitely come again. My burger was seasoned so well it was unreal.thank you!

Lovely pub, very close to the M4 which was a great spot for lunch with family.
The staff squeezed us in without a reservation (we did arrive just as it opened!) which was very appreciated and brought our baby a high chair. Very accommodating when we asked for hot water for warming up milk too. Food came out quickly and was good. The mac and cheese side order was delicious! There are baby changing facilities in the womens bathroom too.
The pub looks well kept and clean, and the outdoors is lovely – we’d have sat outside if the weather was better!
