1st time here on sunday!! I will deff b bk to try more items. I got the 4 veggie plate. Fried okra, fried squash, fried tomatoes, and mashed potatoes. I got a red velvet cake slice to go. Everything was super fresh and super yummy!!

Had the turkey dinner yesterday at Mary’s. The serving size was more than enough! Their dressing was perfectly seasoned. Most places go heavy on sage in their dressing, to my liking, it was perfect! The turkey was real turkey and not sliced deli turkey! I will get it again for sure! Thanks Mary’s Cafe for never disappointing!

They have a good sized parking lot and dining room. When I walked in I was greeted by 2 servers and the cashier. The menu has a lot of options that all sound delicious. I settled on meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, pintos, and fried squash. I am miserably food because I devoured it all. The squash is homemade as well as everything else. The pintos were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone!

First off, the waitress I had was real nice, she had the dark hair.
Onto the food, I got the chicken fried steak which she recommended to me. It was 2 smaller patties smothered in gravy and mashed potatoes with meat gravy also. The patties were like a cross between chicken fried steak but also pot roast. The meat was like shredded. I never seen that in chicken fried steak before especially if you’re accustomed to TX style. This might be Carolina style who knows.. it was good, just different. Potatoes made well and the mac and cheese was real good. I DO see why this place is a local favorite.
