Group dinner was great! Food was served relatively close in timing so nobody was waiting to eat.
The whiskey burger was recommended to me and it was so delish! Side caesar salad was so good – creamy, not soggy. My husband had salmon amd he loved it.
Katie was incredible. She sets a buzz about the table and everyone enjoyed her candid honesty.

The Foundry 1872 had hosted our wedding reception and it was the best decision we made! From the friendly staff to the delicious food and drinks, we had guests non stop commenting on how perfect everything was. They made our wedding so smooth and easy with endless help and ensuring we have everything. I had a vision and they made it come to life! We appreciated everything they had done and cannot recommend them enough to host your next event!

We had driven past this place for months and finally decided to try it out for a birthday dinner. Booking a table was easy and super friendly—they even invited us to bring our own cake, which was a nice touch!
When we arrived, everything was ready. Waters were poured, and orders were taken quickly. The staff were great—very attentive and kept our drinks topped up throughout the meal. I really appreciate free refills on soft drinks, and while the server mentioned they’re supposed to charge, that didn’t seem to be enforced, which was great. I will always dock 2 stars off for no free refills.
The food was fresh, flavourful, and came out fast. Everyone at our table was happy with their meals. My only complaint is the portion size of the pasta—it was a bit small. I had a soup and a pasta dish and still left a little hungry. Hopefully that’s something they can adjust in the future and reason I won’t give full 5 stars.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely consider coming back!

Had a great experience at the Foundry 1872. I got the pizza and it was well done and delicious with a generous amount of toppings on it. My wife got the shrimp fajitas and they came out sizzling as a real spectacle. They were delicious with the added, I don’t know what it’s called but I think it’s a cheese sauce and it was really good.
The service was fantastic, our server was really great and the food came out really quick.
Really neat building with a lot of history to it and I absolutely love the modern industrial vibe. Seeing the bar as well just makes me want to come back and have a beer and watch the game there.
Overall had a very good experience and will definitely be back.

We have been several times. The staff is very friendly and they want to please. The food is general good, although there have been a few disappointments but never anything bad enough to keep us from going back. Pizzas are good, well presented. I have found that sometimes the beef in the burgers is a bit dry. Also there fries are usually quite good but once they were disappointing.
Service is getting better. If go at noon when they are just opening up, you food may be a bit slow while the kitchen gets rolling. On thing that bothers me that they can do nothing about is the noise on the patio caused by the traffic on the street/

We were there for my husbands 65th birthday party. Our waitress made the experience absolutely the best. There were some mix ups with food orders and waited for some of the meals, but the food was very good my daughter is celiac and I was worried her food would get mixed up with other orders from the table but everything was great there. Thank you for giving us and my husband a great 65th birthday party he is undergoing cancer treatment but he ate every bit on his plate and the rainbow cake was such a sweet touch.

We had an excellent meal at The Foundry! The food was excellent and dispite the restaurant having every table taken, our food came out quickly. We had a hot dip as an app and had chicken & pasta and the fish and shrimp special with a side alpine salad…which was fantastic! I will get the salad next time for sure. Our waitress, Belle, was the icing on the cake! She is the best.

Had the pleasure of visiting the newest addition to Durham. For apps we ordered the Honey Garlic – Monster Roaster Wings & Signature Egg Rolls… the wings were cooked perfectly! Our main entrees we chose the Harvest Moon Medley (a bit spicy) and Hunter Style Chicken (chicken was not dry & the ragu was amazing). Thing to note.. everything tasted as if it was freshly made and not processed! Great job chef!! And for dessert we ordered both the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Pie (decadent) and the Molten Sticky Toffee Pudding (I’ll be ordering this again). Overall, we will definitely be coming back. The staff was amazing & the place looks great… a special shout out to our waitress, Kentaya, who was super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of despite how busy it got.

We celebrated our 22nd Valentine’s Day here at the Foundry this evening. Our server was Tiana (hope I spelled that right). Hands down, the best service I have ever had. She was so attentive and took the time to chat with us for a few minutes. As we stood up to leave she came over and said have a wonderful rest of your Valentine’s Day. At the same time we went in for a hug. . Sometimes, the universe aligns people to meet. Tiana is such a beautiful soul. Thank you for making our special day even more special. ♥️. Oh, and the Firehouse Burger was delicious .
