First impression on staff wasn’t great as the person seating us seemed like they didn’t want to be there and then we got sat next to the kitchen so had to hear the word corner yelled repeatedly throughout our time there.
Food was good but bland at the same time and we find this alot around The Villages.
Biscuit gravy wasn’t really to our liking as it seemed to have a weird taste to it but this is probably just the cooks recipe
Definitely would recommend for anyone to try and was not a negative experience in any way just try to sit away from kitchen entrance.
Unfortunately, the meal itself fell short of expectations. My tofu scramble portion was very small, served with only two Beyond sausage patties, and the plate looked noticeably empty. It also wasn’t very filling. The vegan options were minimal overall. Avocado toast was available, but the home fries weren’t vegan-friendly since they’re cooked in the same fryer as meat products. A 10 oz glass of orange juice was priced at 5 dollars, which felt steep for the size.
Adding to the disappointment, I couldn’t enjoy coffee with my breakfast because the restaurant had no non-dairy milk available that day.
I really hope they expand and refine their vegan offerings. Even adding toast or a biscuit to the tofu scramble plate, along with options like vegan pancakes or waffles, would make a big difference. With a few upgrades, this could become a great spot for vegans in the area.
