We had breakfast there with a friend and really loved the food! The applewood bacon was the best and cooked perfectly! Loved the apple butter biscuits! Everything was delicious! Our service was very slow, although the staff was very nice!

Stopped by to visit an old friend with the kiddos! He recommended stopping by. My kiddos loved their pancakes and I enjoyed the waffles. It’s pretty great that there’s a park nearby. Super friendly staff.

So glad we could eat here today! Yesterday the line was too long! Generous portion of perfectly ripe avocado!!! The biscuits are amazing! Many vegan options! Huge menu selection! Great service with a smile! Outdoor seating! It was great! Line is out the door again!

We really enjoyed this place and will return again.
First impression on staff wasn’t great as the person seating us seemed like they didn’t want to be there and then we got sat next to the kitchen so had to hear the word corner yelled repeatedly throughout our time there.
Food was good but bland at the same time and we find this alot around The Villages.
Biscuit gravy wasn’t really to our liking as it seemed to have a weird taste to it but this is probably just the cooks recipe
Definitely would recommend for anyone to try and was not a negative experience in any way just try to sit away from kitchen entrance.

You get a biscuit when you enter. However some people got jam and cream and we got nothing ‍♀️ The biscuits were served warm. Stick to the breakfast items, my husband’s food was great. My lunch items were okay.

Delicious food. And the women serving us was a joy to talk with. My wife said it was the best biscuit and the best grits she’s had.

I went here for breakfast pretty early and service and food was pretty good. Went back a couple days later and placed an order on their website, which had an option to use my doordash information for contact and payment. It was $22 so it really wasnt a lot of food. Waited 30 minutes, website said food was ready and went inside, order wasnt even started she told me 15 more minutes. Came back 15 minutes and had to wander to find someone to help me and the same lady told me they havent even started on the order. I asked if I could cancel the order and she said she could not, I had to do it through doordash. Order wasnt placed through doordash so I could not cancel it through the website or my app. I had to go back in again and escalate and someone finally canceled it on their end. The woman i originally dealt with who kept telling me the food wasnt ready and to cancel it on my end was so cold and dismissive after I started having an issue. The younger hostess was very nice and helped me in the end. Its really unfortunate because the food is really good but it seems to be a training issue and I hope it can be addressed. Maybe not, but i wouldnt recommend ordering through the website.

Add a vegan, I was excited to learn that The Flying Biscuit offers a vegan menu, especially since vegan options in The Villages seem limited. Getting seated was quick, and they handed out remote buzzers so guests could wait outside, which was convenient. Service was also efficient and we received our food shortly after ordering. The atmosphere was pleasant overall, and the option for patio seating was a nice touch.
Unfortunately, the meal itself fell short of expectations. My tofu scramble portion was very small, served with only two Beyond sausage patties, and the plate looked noticeably empty. It also wasn’t very filling. The vegan options were minimal overall. Avocado toast was available, but the home fries weren’t vegan-friendly since they’re cooked in the same fryer as meat products. A 10 oz glass of orange juice was priced at 5 dollars, which felt steep for the size.
Adding to the disappointment, I couldn’t enjoy coffee with my breakfast because the restaurant had no non-dairy milk available that day.
I really hope they expand and refine their vegan offerings. Even adding toast or a biscuit to the tofu scramble plate, along with options like vegan pancakes or waffles, would make a big difference. With a few upgrades, this could become a great spot for vegans in the area.
