I have to give the Yelm, WA McDonald’s a well-deserved five stars for their amazing service and, more importantly, for bringing the glorious Grinch Meal to town!
From the moment I pulled up to the drive-thru, the staff was friendly and quick, even with the holiday rush. But the real star of the show is the limited-time Grinch Meal. I chose the 10-piece Chicken McNuggets option and a medium drink, and it was the perfect festive feast.
However, the item that truly stole Christmas (in the best way possible!) was the Grinch Pickle Fries. I was a little skeptical about the dill pickle seasoning for the McShaker Fries at first, but one bite and I was hooked. The tangy, zesty “Grinch Salt” is absolutely yummy and adds the most delightful, surprising twist to the World Famous Fries®. I am officially a pickle fry enthusiast and will be petitioning for these to become a permanent menu item!
Plus, getting the awesome pair of Grinch socks in the meal was the perfect touch.
If you’re in the mood for some fast food, you must stop by and try the Grinch Meal before it disappears! Thank you, Yelm McDonald’s, for making my holiday season extra special and pickle-flavored!

Today I went through the drive-through before I picked up my daughter from school. I asked for a barbecue sauce and the drive-through window stated that they put it in the box. I looked through all three happy meals and did not find the barbecue sauce. She continually argued with me at the window even after I said, can I just please have another barbecue sauce instead of arguing. She then rolled her eyes, gave me another barbecue sauce, but used her fingernail to punch a hole through it so it would leak. I asked for extra ice in my drink, which I did not receive and when I asked her for extra ice, she had an attitude. I asked for the extra ice when I ordered and it shouldn’t be an issue. I remember when this woman first started at McDonald’s and she was the most helpful and happiest now today you can see the difference. Her caring for customer support is just awful.

So I’m a high schooler and me and my Girlfriend had walked to McDonald’s from there and when I got there the atmosphere was just generally really off. We ordered from the kiosk and not only did the food take over 20 minutes but the food was generally cold. So me and her sat down and as soon as we had gotten our food. This employee had walked over to us and honestly very rudely told us that we couldn’t stay. It was raining outside and about 40°. Take in mind, there is also no outdoor seating. If I were you I’d take my self elsewhere for food

My goodness! I had the best experience here. Ariel was the girl who served me and she was just outstanding. When the order came in wrong (just no ketchup and pickles) she didn’t hesitate to correct it. Absolutely love her for that! If i can rate more stars i would. Thank you again!

It’s getting concerning that the only McDonald’s in Yelm is now shorting the food the give thier customers in the drive through. Paying for a large fries but only getting enough to barely fill a Medium should be a crime.

I have been to many McDonalds as an Uber/Doordasher and customer. Yelm is the most efficient one..even when it’s busy they have a better set-up to get things done faster. The service/staff are great, and pretty good under pressure.

I walked in the lobby not knowing the lobby was closed which was my mistake, however the door was unlocked and there were two gentleman that greeted me, one was taller and assisted me with getting the fries I didnt get in my bag, but the other was shorter and walked to the front and said “your not supposed to be in here, dont do that” while I understand the frustration I absolutely did not enjoy his rude tone and demeanor. The only reason this is even 2 stars is because of the taller gentleman.

The food isn’t fresh , I’ve been to mcdonald’s all over washington and the ones in lacey always have fresh food. The lines in the drive through i can’t complain because things do happen that can get backed up. But there’s no reason the food isn’t fresh and the cheese isn’t melted on the sandwiches.

App has changed. When ordering a breakfast meal, now not able to select a medium or large coffee. I understand if there needs to be an up charge for it, but why take away the option to get a medium or large coffee with your meal on the app. Doesn’t make sense.
