We visited last week. We were in the area again, so we just had to come back for some more of that amazing coffee. Perplexingly, refills there are not encouraged. If you want a second cup, you need to ask for it. And at $3.50 a cup, I suggest that you do. That is the best coffee I ever had!
Oh, and I was wanting to try their Shrimp & Grits – which I did. They did not disappoint! I left pleased, satisfied, full and happy.

Great atmosphere. Speedy service thank you to O’Umar the store manager making sure we’re taking care of. Also I like the team work the harmony of the place. It’s never a wait for me and my lady upon eating here. They have great Mimosas to.

Honestly, I love everything about this place. The ambience is super cute. The food is delicious. Literally the best grits I could ever eat and the service was very kind and polite. I’m glad I found a new spot I can go to.

Kay was a wonderful waitress and Omar was a great manager and even seated us before opening time. The food, of course, was delicious as always. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Cannot recommend more highly! P.S. Try the Freebird Benedict

First, our hat goes off to Iliana. Her hospitality is off the charts amazing! She greeted us with the biggest smile and asked us how we were doing. Genuinely! It felt like we were at someone’s home for brunch.

I had the Florida Sunshine Waffle Breakfast with grits and Beyond Sausage (vs the chicken sage sausage that is typically served). The food came out quickly, hot and tasted good. Really loved the biscuit (btw).

The atmosphere is diner-like. People there to have a comfort food breakfast or brunch and a good time. There is a steady ambient hum of conversations going on, but you can still talk comfortably with your company.

Overall, definitely a place we will frequent.

Me and my mom stopped in on our way out of Atlanta and what a good stop it was. We had Iliana and she is the biggest sweetheart. The food was delicious, the service was great, and what a cute joint! You wouldn’t even know it’s a chain restaurant. Definitely worth your time 🙂

Book Club Brunch – Cute Spot, Just Missing Some Flavor

Our book club met up at The Flying Biscuit Café for brunch. The place is bright, colorful, and full of good vibes. Parking was a little tough to find, but once inside there was no wait and our food came out hot and fresh. The presentation was beautiful, but the flavor didn’t quite match the look. Everything just needed a little more seasoning and personality. Great service and atmosphere, but probably not a spot we’d return to.
