This is the fourth time I’ve been here, and it’s the first time I didn’t have to wait for a table. Not only that, but my waitress was excellent—10 out of 10. It’s not always like that though, so I recommend booking ahead of time; otherwise you might have to wait 15–30 minutes.
Now let’s talk about the delicious croissant—it’s one of the house specialties and absolutely worth trying.

We sat down and waited 15 minutes for the waitress who seemed to have a attitude problem explaining to us that there were no small plates because everything was in the dishwasher but she brought some rolls and 40 minutes later when we ordered dinner we asked for fresh rolls to be brought then and small plates and her attitude popped and she told us they would be a $1.00 each so we asked for the manager and she changed her mind and just brought some, the food was good not very hot like it probably sat in the window waiting because she wasn’t doing anything else very fast. Price was not bad, everything else went okay except the COLD draft and the food in the seat cushions that looks like they never clean the booths, see pictures

Absolutely delicious, great service and amazing atmosphere. The menu includes a variety of delicious dishes. I got the white fish that comes with rice, I chose a side of broccoli cheddar casserole and corn. So tasty.

We love Cheddars! They no longer have one by us so we don’t go very often. The food was good and our server was so friendly.

We arrived at 6:30pm quite Busy time. We had a reservation and we waited for 5-10 minutes and we were at our table, server was great and food was also great the chicken tender player was amazing. Fries came late tho but overall great food and Service,will recommend.

Had lunch at Cheddar’s in Independence. We were seated promptly and our order was taken within minutes. Ordered spinach artichoke appetizer that was very good (sorry no picture ). Took a while for it to be served though. I ordered the blackened salmon with broccoli and a side salad. My wife orders the shrimp plate with broccoli casserole and side salad. Didn’t get the salads for 10-15 minutes and it was about 45 minutes before we got our meals. By the time our meals were served we were ready to leave. The blackened salmon had a very good flavor but Chef Ramsey would have given the presentation a -5. The shrimp had more crust on them than shrimp. My wife pulled most of the extra crust off so she could taste the small shrimp inside. She said the casserole was good so no complaint there. Overall the food was okay but the very long wait to get our meals was ridiculous and we couldn’t understand why since the restaurant was not very busy. Like most places, prices go up while service and food portions go down.

Got here at 10:15 PM on a Saturday night and they have all the chairs stacked on the tables like they’re closing. We asked them and they said they were closing at 11 PM. Then they told us that they had dumped all the beverages already. So we drank water. Why not put that you close at 10:00 pm or 10:30 pm if you’re going to close up everything on a busy weekend after Thanksgiving and Black Friday?? We usually love this place but tonight it was not good. Hope it gets better…

My wife loves Cheddar’s but I’m usually on the fence with it. Not tonight! My steak was fantastic! Come perfectly with s nice crust. The broccoli and cheese casserole was super delicious. Service was very quick, courteous, and efficient. Best experience I’ve had in this chain.
