We stopped by for a late lunch on our way across the state. Love the fun atmosphere and extensive menu options. The food was excellent, although our fried pickles were a little on the greasy side. The catfish was delicious. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely stop here again.

To start the staff and atmosphere was awesome. My issue is the lack of flavor and smoke. The Brisket had no smoke in it and had the texture of boiled meet that had been thrown in a smoker after the fact, same for the pulled pork. All in all the food needed seasoning. Fried tomatoes and fish were awesome though.

This is, hands down, one of my favorite spots to eat. The homemade pork rinds are amazing, and if you’re looking for TRUE, vinegar based, Carolina bbq, look no further. You add the sauce yourself, so if the vinegar based sauce isn’t your thing, they have others that are really good too!!

So this is my 2nd time coming here and it’s been awhile. But the food is amazing and delicious too . In my picture I ordered a macaroni and cheese skillet and I added brisket in and sausage. Also, I ordered a chicken sandwich with french fries as a side. I definitely will be back again soon.

This place was recommended by a colleague and I gave it a shot. I’m convinced that no one that works or eats here knows what BBQ is. The service was ok and friendly but it took about 15 minutes for a waiter to swing by and they were only moderately busy. I was put next to an out of place table near an exit door that has a lot of cigarette smoker foot traffic. I received my food promptly but almost disgusted at the sight of the brisket. Some of it was greasy and mushy other pieces rubbery and dry. It was sliced in only a way that lousy BBQ places slice it. The plate came with 4 “potato” rolls but they seemed to just be regular buns. The coleslaw was good but expectations were low as I was hoping for a vinegar based slaw. The slaw was in a nice glass dish and the beans were served in what looked like a KFC “to go” bowl. The atmosphere was nice and a musician was setting up to play. It was clean and staff was friendly but this was some of the worst “BBQ” I’ve ever had. Just before I left I noticed a hair on the salt shaker, wish I would have snapped a pic.

Amazing food, amazing catering team, amazing experience. The fishin’ pig provided so much more than we expected them to and took care of everything. The food was delicious. Multiple people told us it was the best bbq they’ve had. We upgraded to the mashed potato bar and I could have had that and the Mac n cheese only and been set. Highly recommend their team for your next event.

every. single. thing. was so delicious! we split the BBQ sampler platter along with the seafood platter and some loaded mac’n’cheese. my favorite was the kielbasa, my mom loved the hush puppies, and sister loved the fried fish. the mixed drinks made us feel like we were on a tropical island. the service was friendly, generous with recommendations, and attentive. we will absolutely be back!
