Breakfast was great..owner was very friendly and shared some history about kittery with us.. reasonably priced..oh and I must add it was a very welcoming environment. Family ran and cooked food just the way I wanted it. We will gladly return our next time we visit NH.

Came here Friday with my friend and our kids for breakfast. The kids all ordered chocolate chip pancakes and loved them. They were huge! We ended up taking half of the pancakes home because they were so big! My friend and I both ordered the homemade cinnamon swirl french toast which was amazing. We also ordered bacon sides which were cooked to perfection, crispy as I requested. The coffee was great! The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Lots of great choices on the menu and the pricing was great. Just an FYI it’s a cash only restaurant. The best part of our experience though was when my 7 year old son went up to pay the bill. The man who took care of us (sorry I never got your name) was very nice and helped my son figure out how much change he should receive after paying the bill as well as why he should know how much he should get back. It really warmed my heart that he took the extra time to connect with my son and help him do the math and learn. Thank you for making this a great experience as well as having amazing food and for making my son feel so important and happy. We will definitely be back and see you again!

My husband and I ate here on Sunday and had an excellent overall experience– super friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and quick service.
This was the best veggie omelet I’ve ever had, hands down. I was extremely impressed with the variety of fresh vegetables and the fluffy eggs that were not at all grease covered. The pancake was also delicious and cooked perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and have been for the past three days to everyone at work!
PS- We loved the trivial pursuit cards on the tables!! Thank you for the great experience!

Excellent service, tasty food. Fresh fruit on fried dough, highly recommended!
Loses 1/2 star for being cash only, which I find generally frustrating (even though there is an ATM next door), and 1/2 for having loaves of bread advertised but not available for purchase, which was a bummer.

We have always been happy with our meal. This time not so much!
My hot dogs were cold my baked beans were so hot I couldn’t touch them. The brown bread was awful
And my husband’s meal was brought out a long time after mine. It just didn’t seem necessary. There was hardly anybody in there it was not an issue of people being busy. I don’t know if I will return there.

My husband and I frequent a lot of breakfast dinners. This place is hands down one of the best. The service is was perfect. He food was amazing. Home cooked food like Gram makes. No waiting around for our check or looking for a refill the service…I cant say enough good stuff about this place…

Looks like a hole in the wall stuck between a gas station, a hair salon and a Chinese fast food restaurant. Do not be fooled by its outside appearance. Go in and you will understand why this place is still in business (and will be for a long time to come). Great food with normal, non-tourist trap, prices and a nice atmosphere. I got pancakes… you should as well. But don’t ask for Mal or Wash as I do not think they’re there…

My wife and I were on vacation last week and we found this gem of a diner. The servers treated us like we were regulars. We felt like we were in our local diner back home. The eggs, bacon and homefries were cooked perfectly. Great coffee. I highly recommend them.
