It’s one of the top bars in Newport. Super friendly service from the staff. And also always friendly and welcoming are the patrons. I watched soccer games there in the past. This Saturday, I was looking for a place to watch the F1 Qualifying. When I got there the place was packed and golf was on TV. I asked the bartender if it could be switched, and he would check for me. And all the golf fans were happy to watch the Qualifying with me. And not to forget the food, I had honey mustard wings and they were really good. in the past, I had the Ceasars salad and the burger before. The menu is on line.

Good bar with lots of nice space, dart boards, a pool table and nice outdoor patio area. The service however fluctuates between bad and decent. The first few times I came they didn’t have a card minimum, but other times I went they did. They also have made me pay for bottled water, and friends of mine have been over charged for their tabs. They need to standardize their practices.

Lively watering hole in the summer. This is an old New England joint so don’t expect anything fancy, from the food to the service. The owners and servers are friendly though usually hard to flag down. Great beer battered onion rings. Unsure if there is actual table or drink service outside in back as I’ve been told to go back there a number of times and never once saw anyone but locals playing games and smoking cigarettes. Cozy in winter. A place to get drunk, and not too cheaply. Irish bangers and mash were ok, but the mashed potatoes were of questionable origin/ preparation. A cool landmark to visit it Newport, but nothing to cry over if you miss it. Irish music Sunday evenings.

Stopped in for breakfast and returned for some great music that evening. Best atmosphere in Newport. Large seating area in the bar, and an even larger outside seating area. I recommend stopping by for food and Irish drinks.

Only had a few beers here, but the bartenders were great and attentive. It’s a fun place where the patrons enjoy their football (aka soccer to us Americans).

Very fun place had gone before and thought it would be fun to go again for Saint Patty’s Day but it was busy and the service was not good , we had to go to the bar for our drinks which was fine but still took a little bit along with the bartender waiting on people who were taller than me like I wasn’t there. We wanted to order food because last time we were there it was really good but never got waited on to be able to do so. The people around us at other tables were all very friendly and nice and hopefully we will get the chance to go back again because despite the service this day it is a fun relaxing place to hang.
