I was just visiting the area and came to this place. The drinks I had tasted good, and the bartender was nice. She was very polite and always checked to see if we needed more drinks. The food from the food truck tasted good also.

I honestly loved it there. I was going there every Saturday night for karaoke and I was Elvis. I had moved to Andrews to work at a construction company and I found the detour bar and for 3 months I went there almost every Saturday to sing some karoake and bring memories of Elvis to the good people. I honestly would recommend it for people who wanna have a good time. And for the people who dont like the smoking, dont go to a casino.

In my opinion this bar is too small overcrowded they only play country and rock. Upside the beer is cheap. Mostly older people come to this bar older as in over the age of 29(not a bad thing just saying). They have a outdoor patio which is nice also a food truck as well. Parking is pretty terrible, if your not their early enough you have to park across the street in a private dirt lot(chance of getting towed). If you like cheap beer and rock/country this is the place to go.
