Friendly atmosphere and fast service. I went during lunch time and we got our food and drinks fast. The food was great! My husband said the fish was the best he has had in years. It was perfectly breaded and cooked. My BLT was huge and delicious. The homemade chips were also really good. I loved the variety of drinks and beer they offered. Their food is priced perfectly in my opinion.

309 Bistro is a nice restaurant and we enjoyed our food, however both the bacon wrapped scallops we ordered for an appetizer and the pork chops ordered for dinner were very overcooked. We ordered two appetizers, the scallops and the beef tips, but our waitress let us know after about 15-20 minutes of waiting, that they were out of the beef tips. The scallops came out shortly thereafter so it is possible they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a time while the staff figured out they had run out of beef tips.
Other than the food being overcooked, the flavor profiles were nice. The chef is not afraid of spices, which I like.
We will likely give them another try in the future.

This place was a solid choice for dinner. The food was good and fairly priced. The atmosphere isn’t anything special, but we were surrounded by people enjoying themselves and our server was nice and attentive.

I got the portobello wrap w/ chips for pick up and it’s pretty good. Homemade chips are one of my weaknesses and they taste so good, could use some salt tho. My food was ready when I got there and I didn’t have to wait or anything. Also the price isn’t terrible or anything either.

An odd little downtown spot with really good food! We were a large group and had booked the backroom which was the odd part, you go by the bathrooms, through a set of curtains from from the main dining room into this back room area. The door to the kitchen was left open the entire time so it was noisy. The waitress was great but just couldn’t keep up with a large group by herself. The food was good but limited to three main dishes because we were a group. Steak, chicken or salmon, a baked potato (which was cold) and a small salad.

Stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday with a large party. Friendly, inviting atmosphere, and we were sat immediately. The menu was encompassing, something for everyone.
Food took a bit, but the refills kept coming and it was worth the wait. Waitstaff handled the busyness in stride. The food in my party looked awesome, huge sandwiches, fresh toasted clubs, Reuben’s- no complaints. However my Caribbean jerk chicken salad left me wanting. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Unique little pub in downtown. Drinks were excellent. My husband’s burger came out burnt but the waitress removed it from our bill which was appreciated. My beef tips in blue cheese dip was excellent. Don’t miss the truffle fries!

We enjoyed our dinner here while visiting Edenton. Service was attentive. Good portion and fair pricing. I asked for crispy salmon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the pork chop plate. Don’t order ‘large’ unless you can eat 2 large chops in one meal!

Best creole shrimp and grits I’ve had in a long time! It had the perfect kick of spice and the consistency of the sauce was great. I was nervous at first about the grit cakes because I haven’t had the best experience with them in the past, but these were pretty good. I was going to try the steak but maybe next time. I’ll definitely be back again.
